I fully expect Jones to try and take the fight to the ground. If jon wins it's by submission or gnp.
It’s hard to generate KO power when you’re going for precision eye pokes.Sacrificing your knees to get inside Jones at that age is worse than getting knocked out IMO and i’m sure Stipe knows Jones doesn’t have a punching power so it’s a terrible choice to fight him.
If Stipe can come into the fight in the shape as when he beat Cormier and Ngannou, I think he beats Jones. The problem is he looked thinner and weaker in his 2nd fight against Ngannou (which was also his last fight). I wouldn't expect that to get better 3.5 years later.
"Using my size", what the hell? He was 234lbs for his last fight. They're the same height. Picto is the same size. Plus a lot of blubber nowadays.
Just punch him in the face very hard and end this facade, please.
pretty sure your one of those guys who support volkov getting ko'd left and rightNot sure. I'll let you know if I ever see you post any, which is doubtful.
Stipe has been 240-250 all but like 2 fights. He came in very light in the last DC fight and Ngannou fight but has been back up to his normal 240-250 for a while now.Bro almost weighed in as a LHW in his last fight
Aspinall talking like a rookie"I'd be looking for the knockout against Jon Jones is what I'd be looking for with him," Aspinall explained. "... I'd just be using my size on him, trying to push him back and knock him out. I think that Stipe Miocic has got big knockout power in comparison to Jon Jones. So I think he can knock him out."
