Stipe gonna make Jones go sleepy

Jon’s sub game is nowhere near Werdum level. And he was the guy who put Cain to sleep. And how is Jon’s cardio gonna be at HW if he has to go a few rds? Stipe has a decent chance of winning.
Jones at hw has more chance of having good cardio than Stipe at age 41.

Good production.
Not sure what this has to do with the actual fight however sir.

Everyone thinks Stipe is old, this video shows he still has it and isn’t going to just roll over like Gane. We got a real fight on our hands.

Forgot about Werdum because there was no grappling exchange there iirc. Werdum got dropped half way through the first and never threatened anything sub wise. Plus, unlike Werdum, Jon has the wrestling to more effectively force grappling exchange.

I want to believe you but I just don't see it. Yes Jon's cardio is a what if but I don't see the fight going long. Also, I'm not convinced that Jon is off "the good stuff" so I'm not counting on him having any kind of physical disadvantage.

I just would have rather Jon fight the young active guys instead. All the love in the world to Stipe but him being old and rusty really makes me have doubts

Jones has the guillotine that Stipe needs to be wary of, but otherwise his sub game is pretty straight forward

I hope Stipe knocks him straight out, I hate Jon Jones.
This videos doesn't show much in the way of having it to be honest.

Its a promotional video, but nothing is going to show us if he still has it until he's in there.

Age doesn't matter as much at HW. We've seen HWs in their 40s like Randy win belts in UFC. Glover just did at LHW and went multiple 5 rounds

And there are also many fighters that had good cardio when moving up a weight class, also from LHW to HW.

From age 38 till 41 is a big difference in sports so that will have a a great effect on cardio. There is just no other way around. All cardio sports proof the cardio is declined over 40.

Does Jones have a gas tank at heavyweight? We know Stipe does.

Stipe hasn't won a fight in over 3 years.

In his last fight, he got absolutely murdered by Ngannou, and it wasn't some flash KO. He was shut out and hurt in the first round, they scary KO'd in the second. He's now 41, coming off years of inactivity and a horrific knockout loss.

His last win against DC was literally Daniels retirement fight. This is a shuffling around of old farts.

Jon is outside his prime, there is no doubt of that. Stipe? Stipe is embarrassingly old for cage fighting. He doesn't belong in there. There is nothing to recommend he's going to win at any of this, save to say Jon is fairly shot himself.

Well that certainly would make the world a more interesting place.

He’s gonna spank him. Spank him hard. It won’t even be close. I’ll look for this to be a total bloodbath.

Jones didn't even have the balls to fight Ngannou. Stipe did twice and went 1-1

Good thing this isn't just a cardio sport, it's a fight sport and experience matters

Would love to see that but it's not happening. He's just too old, inactive and shot. Jon won't stand with him, he's training with Gordon Ryan for a reason. He'll take it to the ground and finish Stipe there.
Either quickly or dominantly

Because Jon's submission game I'd better than everyone Stipe has fought. Jon is a very good wrestler who can force people into grappling exchanges or jump on an opening after a knockdown. Jon is well aware of the difference in power snd will absolutely not play the striking game with Stipe. Stipe is coming off a massive lay off. Stipe is old and far past his prime. Etc etc etc.

Like I said, I'd love to be wrong but Jon has everything going for him here. Stipe good TDD but not a lot of experience fighting off submissions on the albeit rare occasions when he goes down

Not a lot of experience in the octagon in front of the cameras, yes. But you think he doesn't drill that stuff? You think they never get black belts for his training camps? Stipe actually has a rep, quiet as it is, of being almost impossible to submit. I've read a few testimonials, like a post from a guy who went along when his professor was brought in to provide Stipe practice, and in a full week of intensive rolling the master only managed to submit Stipe once.

I have a feeling though that Jones doesn't know it either. He's been conspicuously training with Gordon Ryan, and sniffing at Stipe "preparing for a boxing match" because the only training clips Stipe posts are him in the gloves and headgear. Does he think absence of Twitter proof = proof of absence?

If Jon goes for a submission but Stipe manages to reverse him and pounds his face off, I will LAUGH and LAUGH and LAUGH....

Jones obviously has no intention of ever standing with anyone at HW, which leads me to believe he understands that if he chooses to do so, that's how he will lose. If Stipe manages to keep it standing, I will enjoy the concern on Jones' face. He's got a bad foot, probably can't move like he wants to, and especially with the extra weight. He jumped Gane at the first opening bc he knows the score. He wants it on the ground bc he's now a slug on his feet. Even at 40whatever years old, if Stipe keeps it standing, I think he wins.

It's just good misdirection

But don't be fooled into thinking Jon isn't gonna beat him standing as well
