Stipes fans are more delusional than jony fans. Nganou just went head to head woth the best hw boxer today. He left ufc with the belt after ktfo of stipe into retirement. Nuff said..

Theres been mma gyms in NY since mma started. Hwnce Bones, Weidman, Serra etc.

Francis has never lacked for training resources sunce his ufc debut
 
That loss was the most important thing to develop Francis. He took the lesson and actually fixed his cardio and other holes after that.

you guys just won't drop the "Ngannou was green" narrative will you... (despite the fact he has fought pretty much the same before and after the Miocic 1 fight...and just ran into the more capable man that night in a strong and prime Miocic)

and yet, Miocic being over the hill and noticeably weaker, less explosive and slower reactions in their second fight, is not even taken into account...

Frank was pretty green the first fight & stipe was a grandpa the second fight.either way stipe`s win was more impressive

he wasn't green though. he had many pro fights and years of training before that, with multiple wins over former mma champions leading up to his fight with Miocic

he has always been a very powerful counter puncher with a granite chin, but suspect cardio. to be honest, even to this day as in the fight against Fury, his cardio is not amazing and he had to spend entire rounds conserving energy to make it to the end of the fight - this is why he "lost" that fight (even though I, like many others, think he debatably won)

He was definetly green on the wrestling and pacing department. He was used to dispatching everyone in seconds until he ran into Stipe. It was a huge eye opener for him, his ego was through the roof, so much that he went to Cameroon or France 1 week before the fight because the thought he had it in the bag.

re watch some of Ngannou's early fights. he was a very patient fighter and counter puncher.

if he fought any different against Stipe, shame on him for being mentally weak. still doesn't change the fact that Miocic was objectively way stronger, way more explosive and way better reactions in the first fight compared to years later in the second when he was clearly over the hill
