I was just thinking almost the same thing. Nash can be put on any team and fit perfectly but AI is the type of player you build a team around

Nash because he was a superior team player and pure shooter.

Allen on was a straight beast though. Ridiculous 1 on 1; offense and defense.

could see the argument for both. I do think iverson in his prime had the greater impact on a game. But nash will be rememberd a little more fondly becasue of his unselfishness and so many guys were able to excell by playing with him. With iverson the only guys who excelled were the tough defensive minded rebounders becasue AI would do the rest so they could just do their role player stuff. If i were to rank the top 50 guys of all time, i would put iverson slightly ahead.

This will probably be the consensus.

Uh probably because they both want and need the ball in their hands. It wouldn't work.

how would you rank Stockton compared to them?

ahead of both. Stockton had better longevity then either guy. Plus stockton at his worst never hurt his team like iverson at his worst did with poor shots. I do think nash had one or two seasons that were better then any season stockton had but nash also was never ever in the top 10 discussion until like his 8th season when he went back to phoenix. Dallas nash was a border line all-star, he really wasnt quite elite for as long as some might think.

Nash had the best situation with STAT before he got injured - even when he came back his ego kept him from reaching his potential.

Both are great offensively and play no D but at least Nash is very efficient with his offense. Nash makes his team mates better whereas Iverson is a ball stopper. To me, Iverson is entertaining to watch in iso 1 on 1, but the overall brand of fast pace up tempo offense Nash can facilitate is very fun to watch too.
