I wish we could change the colour of the storage containers, but you made it work, as green and purple always contrast well! Looks like you upgraded the shield too?

Thanks and yes I forgot about the shield upgrade. I want to upgrade the reactor next, but need to get a higher pilot level to access the better ones. All the options currently available are worse than what I currently have.

I'm in the same boat, my reactor is holding me back.

I was planning on upgrading my pilot skill but had to put things into Payload. I ran out of storage on the Star Eagle and when I switched ships to the Razorleaf, I was almost 2000 lbs over storage.

Your cargo is supposed to go into whatever you make your home ship, but it just stayed on the razorleaf, even when I went back to the Star Eagle. I had to put everything onto my character then would have to manually move things back onto the Star Eagle. That's when I just gutted the Razorleaf and made the new one, adding as many storage containers as I could. What an ordeal lol

Damn I'm still running out of storage space on my ship even though my max is over 1k kg. I cant add anymore storage things. I guess I have to get a bigger ship? I still got the original ship the game gives you at the beginning. I think its a class A. I cant add any storage compartments that sticks to the side of the ship.I can only put in the ones that attach from the underside.

Do the Freestar Ranger quest line. You get the Star Eagle ship. Still a class A bit it has like 2200kg cargo, along with pretty beefy weapons and shields. Easily the best Class A ship.

There were a lot of reviews I read that recommended mainlining the story for the first 10+ hours or so and that's when the game will start to hook you. So maybe try that before giving up on it. Seems a bit much to do that I know but if you spent money on the game better than just letting $60+ go down the drain.

It better be 10:00:01 when it starts to be fun or I'm out. I got it on Gamepass so it ain't that big a deal either way.

Funny one thing I kinda like is the lock picking which I hear people complaining about. It's a fun little puzzle game.

You need time to really get a flow going. It has a slow, and admittedly confusing and somewhat overwhelming start. It's a GIGANTIC game, that you just have to let breathe a bit. Granted, it could've had a more exciting and to the point opening, like Skyrim or Fallout, but the addictiveness of those games, will eventually set in.

This is gonna be one of those games that's appreciated more over time, for just how deep and endless it really is.

Just got to Mars. Overall I like it. I do fine the space flying to be underwhelming though. I feel like you just stare at a planet and then fast travel to stare at another planet.

It's the opposite of No Mans Sky and Elite Dangerous.

The combat and space travel aren't half as good, and it would be wonderful if you could land on planets without cutscene, or at least keep the loading screen in the cockpit like in Elite Dangerous.

However outside of space travel, No Mans Sky and Elite Dangerous are bland. Starfield universe is far more engaging.

Unfortunately, it's often far easier to just run in headfirst with my Kraken full auto pistol, with my maxed ballistic and pistol parks, and murder, instead of trying to line up headshots whilst being lit up in the process.

I'd like to keep upgrading my combat and physical skills, but I also need to increase my speech and lockpicking, science and space travel, and everything else, really...

I'm taking things slow. Not rushing too much, talking on pirate bounties along the way etc. Just snatched my second artifact...

I've been using the Lawgiver and only recently picked up the old earth rifle. I prefer the Lawgiver and recently got a legendary version which I modified with depleted uranium rounds and it's awesome.

I have a standard Lawgiver. It was fine but I like to have a scope on my rifles and I haven't the resources or skills to really mod or even research anything right now.

A tip for scanning... I had to look this up because it was pissing me off lol.

If you only have one or two fauna left to scan but can't find it anywhere on the map and it says "Biome complete", land near the cost and search the beach area because the last fauna will most likely be fish -_-

Don't forget the Weight Lifting Skill and the Payload Skill to increase your storage limit (weight lifting does your storage, payload increases ship storage)
