What do you think of the Mortis Gods? Do you feel it fits in the Star Wars universe?

Im still not sure how I feel about those characters

I did like that big “grey “ creature and his teachings to Kenan though.

So I just watched a video that says Luke might come back in actual physical form.

And there is precedence for this.

In deleted scenes and unused portions of the script from Jedi, Obi Wan figures out how to come back as not a force ghost, but a physical being.

And the emperor even knew it was possible.

Don’t know what I think about that.

I'll be honest I was a bit indifferent towards that storyline. I don't hate it but I didn't love it either. At least they tried adding something different to the lore.

I feel like I’m already broken, and what’s done is done so just move on with it.

I saw an interesting write up the other day, that speculated that snoke actually was a nobody, and that’s why his death doesn’t really matter.

Like he wasnt the one pulling the strings.

Some points are that he is only really concerenced with two things, building the first order and catching luke, like those were his assignments to fufill and his master will come to light in 9.

That might actually bring some new light and interest to the story line again.

Leia Poppins to me isn’t that hard to understand. Since she’s in space.

She basically only needed very week force pull ability that would have brought her to any unmovable object like the door.

Sci fi has had strong female and minority characters going back decades, including in the original freaking star wars trilogy, but they were in service to the story. Not created and used just to start a political fight. Leave that shit out of the movies.

Oh come on. I didn't say threatened and clearly didn't mean people feel in danger or anything. My point was instead of just including minorities, they just had to frame it as "we're including them and if you don't like it you can eat shit" In the process pissing off a lot of people that didn't care at all if there were women or minority characters. This isn't the 1950's. They're not doing anything stunning or brave. In fact such characters aren't even new or groundbreaking for Star Wars. At all.


I was one of the people saying all of this was overblown after TFA. But Holdo and her nonsensical story arc was pretty clearly designed just to "trigger" people. They're actively TRYING to pick a fight with people with some of these choices, to the point it actually lowers the quality of the movies.

Yup not much has been revealed other than those from the Clone Wars episodes so I really dont know what to make of it at this point.

From what I have heard George Lucas original plans for a sequel was about some sort off Mortis gods esque entity.

I am still unsure If I want StarWars to go on full mystical fantassy like that intertwined with the more usual sci fi fantasy with a mix of mystcism StarWars.


I mean there always been mysticism in StarWars but the Mortis god arc and bendu took it to another level. This why I am not a big fan of the "Chosen one concept introduced in the prequels"


Any way you mentioned Kanan Jarus I would say he is one of my favorite StarWars Characters the premise of his story really has potential like some tragic hero stuff and one we can relate as he became some sort of alcoholic after the Jedi were purge and he has to run away and later learn to accept things and fight for his friends againts all odds.

His death in Rebels is one of the best episodes I love the way the directors made the Rebels logo black for that and dead silence in the ending credits part.

For me Rebels is about Kanan not Ezra.

Yup the way Haldo looks and the theme they are trying to drive at really felt SJWish and you cant tell if they are promoting or making a parody of Social activism because the way it turned out looka silly its like a caricature of Feminism.
