Obligatory: The Last Jedi sucked.

I still strongly feel that Disney/Lucasfilm screwed up big time with the Star Wars brand with the direction that they chose. They should have continued with the story a few years after Return of the Jedi and just recast all the characters with new actors. In that way, they could have expanded the adventures of Luke, Han and Leia ad infinitum.

It's a valid point - there really is not point to the rest of the films

She is already way too good/powerful without any training - has bested Kylo, Luke, Elite Guards, resisted mind control (while kylo was able to deceive his master - go figure).

Unless they throw some sort of out there twist it is not really a film to look forward to.

Lucas fucked up the prequel trilogy except for the final fight sequence that was good.

The entire story for the trilogy now had been awful.

Why not just re cast entire thing an pick up maybe a year after Roj just dumb. They ruined the whole thing by....

A. Making it like 25 years after
B. Going with Rian Johnson a writer director tu or whose claim to fame was fucking Looper ............as JJ Abrams wasnt great but at least he stayed true to star wars........ RJ took star wars an ass fucked it till it died.

Well that's why it was so shocking that they just offed Snoke. And he was showing powers and had a stigma that could have made HIM the mountain to climb and overcome.

...but then RJ had him be killed easily by the dude who Rey already made her bitch in the first film.

Which brings us to where we are now. Left with nothing but characters who do not have the ability to be challenged or have an arc to develop.

So I fully expect the last movie to just be explosions, lens flares and light sabers with very little risk or substance or story or character development.

So chilling and awesome if it happened, in a twilight zone way.

Makes her behavior in the beginning of TFA (wanting to be a rebel/resistance soldier) look like her preparing to be a mole. And yeah her lack of a relationship with Unkar would make sense this way.
