Dead Luke is actually in the X-Wing Rey spots in the water. She thinks he dumped it there since he doesn't want to do anything anymore but he fled to the planet after getting defeated by the First Order and died in the crash landing. Since the force is strong on Ahch-To he's existed as a ghost on the planet though he's not fully aware of that. The caretakers don't mind since they know all about the Temple's powers. In TLJ after he force projects himself to the salt planet he realizes he's been a force ghost all along and reconnects with the greater force, disappearing from Ahch-To.

When we see Luke again in episode 9 as a force ghost he'll explain how his mind was cloudy while he was a ghost on Ahch-To and that explains why he was acting like a little bitch whereas the reality was he tried to stop Snoke was ambushed and injured and then died.

You've posted some great stuff in here. Good shit.

Holy shit Jumanji is beating TLJ for the 4 day weekend. Jumanji might start passing Star Wars in the dailies this week. And next weekend it might beat it again.

Star Wars getting dethroned in its 3rd weekend? Unheard of.

Time to get The Rock on board.

Saw it again yesterday and it was actually a lot better the 2nd time around. I'm probably the biggest and most knowledgeable Star Wars fan on here and I have to admit that I went into the first viewing with my mind already made up that it would be a disappointment, so of course I didn't give it a fair shake. My mistake but I'm glad I gave it a second chance

For those who hated it I recommend you check your egos at the door and go see it again. Rian Johnson is a legit genius but it takes an open (and evolved) mind to be able to appreciate what he's done

What a cringe thing to say

It's not our ego we should leave behind the door, we need to let go of the basic concept of main characters, your need for sound storyline, good dialogues, development of chatactors and also the anticipation for the movie to continue with any build ups that was made from previous movie in some clever way.

Some people have been wondering how Benicio Del Toro knew the plan in order to betray the rebellion. He overhears it when Poe spills the beans to Finn right before he stages the mutiny. It's Poe who got most everyone killed.

It's really hard to believe the objections to this movie.

The first time of what?
The review that started it all, ST: Generations, an unbelievable pile of steaming shit?

The first time they reviewed the prequels?
The latter.

I think back to when I first saw the Force Awakens trailer and poster and was so hopeful. It could've been epic, going in a whole new direction with awesome new characters and it has completely turned to shit.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Crosses $1 Billion at the Worldwide Box Office

Disney-Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi has cleared the $1 billion milestone in worldwide grosses in less than three weeks.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi pulled in $120.4 million globally on the New Year’s Eve weekend with $52.4 million at 4,232 domestic venues and $68 million internationally during the Friday-Sunday period.

The Last Jedi is now the eighth highest-grossing domestic movie of all time with $517.1 million — only $15 million behind last year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the seventh spot. On the worldwide chart, it’s now 24th with $1.04 billion, edging Universal-Illumination’s Despicable Me 3. The tentpole’s international total, currently at $523.2 million, will see a significant jolt when it opens on Jan. 5 in China, its final market.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has also topped Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which grossed $504 million in North America, for the top spot among 2017 releases domestically. It’s the fourth 2017 title to go past $1 billion worldwide, along with “Beauty and the Beast” at $1.26 billion, The Fate of the Furious at $1.24 billion and Despicable Me 3 at $1.03 billion.

The Last Jedi is also winning the domestic weekend box office crown for the third time with $52.4 million, edging Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which took in $50.6 million at 3,765 locations for the Friday-Sunday. However, Sony’s projection showed the Jumanji sequel grossing $16.5 million on New Year’s Day on Monday — well above Disney’s forecast of $13.2 million for The Last Jedi. Should those numbers hold, Jumanji would edge Jedi over the four-day period with $67 million, winning by $1.4 million.

Jumanji has been The Last Jedi’s biggest competitor by far since it opened on Dec. 20. The action-comedy should wind up with an 11-day domestic total of $186.3 million by the end of Monday. The action-comedy, starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, has a $90 million budget. It’s also performed impressively in international markets with $107 million thr0ugh Dec. 28.

Jedi and Jumanji helped lift the entire domestic box office for 2017 to $11.12 billion, down 2.3% from last year’s $11.38 billion and off slightly from 2015’s $11.14 billion, according to comScore. The gap for 2017 had been more than 6% at the end of the worst summer in a decade but performances by It, Thor: Ragnarok, Justice League, Jedi and Jumanji closed most of that margin.

All you haters can kiss my ass before you post your negativity.

That said...

Happy New Year.

I still got love for y'all even if you don't like my jamz.

Yeah, no doubt... & then go back to Yoda on Degobah saying Luke is too old to train cause his head has been f*cked by age... & then we're pissed that his head is f*cked when he gets older.

The whole "Luke treatment" gripe on this film is actually very clearly explained in the movies themselves... & Luke's always been a bit of a whiney dramatic type. Kinda makes sense he'd just say f*ck it after a big misunderstanding with his nephew that made him stray completely to the dark side. I would want Luke to have more faith that Kylo could still be light... but I get his questioning.

If only he didn't flick dat button on the saber... where would we be?

Well, Snoke wouldn't be dead. We got that going for us any wayz.

But dude my childhood.. I wanted EU Luke to come and single handedly crush that army.. can you picture him lifting up one of those gorilla walkers and smashing it on top of another while saying to Rey:

"There that can be your new home now go make me a space sandwich or I'll slap that blue milk right out of you."

Dude you don't get it Disney ruined Star Wars.. for me, I'm still trying to recover.

So NA it already got the biggest take of any movie in 2017.

Now the race to best Beauty and the Beast is on 1.26 billions.

TLJ still didn't open in China but like we saw they don't really do much there but still at the end of everything 1.4 ~ 1.6 bill is in play for Ep 8.

Good solid numbers for Star Wars.

Now Han Solo is next and it will do a lot less especially so close to Avengers.
