I always thought that dooku thought the plan was to best Obi wan, and defeat but not hurt anakin and turn him and have him with them. But dooku didn’t know palp was gonna stay with the theory of two and wanted him killed.
More or less. The plan was for Dooku to lose and then he is taken prisoner. Treachery is the way of the Sith. Dooku forgot about that.

Rian Johnson is making another trilogy of movies with new people, so you can have that lol.

I think the twist for Luke prequel is he's been dead the entire time and he's not really a pussy ass bitch.
We will see. I liked, nearly loved TFA. I liked TLJ less, and that video game CGI shit needs to go, that was unacceptable.
The fucking fan service takes me right out of a film like a chick in the front row turning around and taking her top off.

I hope we don't pay a price for their lack of vision.

See, I did an Emperor thing there

Which Video game CGI shit did you not like from TLJ?

I didn't like Poe getting everyone killed and Luke's story arc. I think Luke should succeed in becoming a Jedi Master before he's killed off.

Leia, or the wax replica they made. In the vacuum.

I'd say what Luke is hasn't been determined yet, possibly

Yoda says he'll become a Jedi when he confronts Vader, but Yoda was also dying and they were just using Luke as a tool to destroy the Sith. For Luke's development I think it's important that he should have trained fully trained Rey to Jedi Knight (and also kept it that none of his padawans ever reached Jedi Knight since Kylo killed/took them). And in doing that he could also define what it is to be a Master for himself and Rey. Because he wasn't really trained properly there could exist a dialogue between the new Jedi master and student dynamic in contrast to the old Jedi dynamic where the student just does everything the master says. So he lives, trains Rey to Jedi knight, becomes a true Jedi Master, and then he can die. He doesn't need to go out and hack people with his lightsaber because that wouldn't be his role anymore (though he should do that in the Luke prequel). But Rian Johnson ruined everything!

Luke actually died decades ago and astral projected the whole appearance in TLJ from the grave.

Dead Luke is actually in the X-Wing Rey spots in the water. She thinks he dumped it there since he doesn't want to do anything anymore but he fled to the planet after getting defeated by the First Order and died in the crash landing. Since the force is strong on Ahch-To he's existed as a ghost on the planet though he's not fully aware of that. The caretakers don't mind since they know all about the Temple's powers. In TLJ after he force projects himself to the salt planet he realizes he's been a force ghost all along and reconnects with the greater force, disappearing from Ahch-To.

When we see Luke again in episode 9 as a force ghost he'll explain how his mind was cloudy while he was a ghost on Ahch-To and that explains why he was acting like a little bitch whereas the reality was he tried to stop Snoke was ambushed and injured and then died.

Someone send this to Dragonlord to make a fake script so Disney can steal it.

This needs to be made viral

Could be cool.
But it's been done. It would present a real challenge to a screenwriter to make it different and effective.
We need different, fresh. Please, new characters, new things.

Yup.
"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" should give someone plenty of space to introduce all new characters and stories.

An interesting quote that I just found. . .

I don't know. He intentionally directed his cast to act badly? "No Hayden, less natural." I suppose anything is possible.

@BisexualMMA, this might be of interest to you. Make sure to click the Spoiler button in the first post.

An interesting defense.

As to things like Luke giving Ben the opportunity to not cross another bad moral line at the end, followed by the knowledge that it was futile and he had crossed it for nothing...

I've said earlier, the final showdown scene with Ben and Luke is a taste of greatness, put there partly to let you know you only get one bite of Filet Mignon, not the whole Filet, which is being taken off your plate and thrown out.

Rian Johnson thinks and likes to show that he's smarter than everybody else, but that doesn't mean he isn't smart. He is. I just think he used his intellect in an improper fashion here.

The only good thing we get from tfa after thinking about it , is a glimpse at how powerful Luke had become.

Kylo was so scared shitless of him he orders the entire fleet to fire everything they had on him.

And didn’t really look suprised when he wasn’t hurt.

Who do you think taught him to stop Blaster fire?

He was probublay thinkjng if they fired enough at once he might not be able to stop them all

Luke was so powerful, yet still gets his butt kicked by Rey

TFA being a remake ... it's almost a microcosm of Hollywood in general.

No new ideas, no creativity ... just rehashed storylines, rehashed visuals. At least George Lucas made the prequels original.
