Nobody watched it
Lol and that was the best plot line they could think of to show these things?that plotline was more about showing how the First Order came to power (indifference and self-enrichment) and how the "flame" of the rebellion will be re-lit - class warfare, as is with most revolutions. Further, it enhanced the heavy handed theme about not going in like a reckless hotdog.
Is it just me, or does anyone else see "Sad Chloe" similarities here?
Same, man.I like your style.
To be honest, man, when I saw all the lasers shooting at Luke and knew Luke wasn't going to die there, I was just thinking he was going to show he'd become some sort of Keanu-esque figure where he was operating on another wavelength of the force and the blasts wouldn't even touch him.
When he was standing there unscathed and brushed his shoulder off (a little lame but kind of fun for the future gif purposes) my mind was in overdrive as to what he was going to do next. In actuality, I fully expected him to showcase some never-before-seen-Steven-Segal-real-lethal-shit with the force. Like just clenching his fist and crushing whole AT-AT Walkers like a soda can.
What they went with was more of a pulling a Kenobi. Nothing wrong with that but obviously many of us were hoping for Luke to tear shit up.
Saw it and it was...a film.
Film seems to a based around an OJ-esque slow speed pursuit. Probably another once over.
Rey is still very likeable, I thought she should've just gone with Ben. She could helped him deal with his clear need to be loved, while he would help her deal with parents you don't respect and they could be training buddies. Twas not to be. Ben was the best part of the movie, when he mind-called Rey with no shirt that was the only BIG laugh this got from me. Chewy wanting to eat the little furry birds was next up.
Finn was useless as was his hair helmet girl. Poe did things this time and learned that being a self serving dick generally doesn't help your combat force as a whole.
Old Man Luke kept his word, he sure didn't leave that island. Wonder if Hamill asked to be killed off when he found out he was gonna be a bitter hermit the whole time. Now all the original humanoid heroes are gone in the movies or in life...well, we have 3PO.
Would give it like a high D or low C, like me in Algebra from 7th grade through college.
It's like they gathered all these out of touch principals in one place. A place where using the term "sherbro" somehow doesn't make you an embarrassment.

She looks mad because her last haircut was interrupted by a bus crash or something.
Speaking of hot, as I said in my review I know this is shallow but I wished Rose switched roles with her much hotter sister Paige.
