Star Wars Megathread

I think they'll just ignore it rather than acknowledge it's scrapped. Rumor is that's essentially what's happening with the sequel trilogy. It won't be decanonized, just ignored and the characters might be referenced in some way, but no more stories about them.

It's the same thing Starbucks does when a Drink fails. They don't actually discontinue it, they just say they ran out, and eventually people stop asking about it.
Just like they will probably work Batuu and the Black Spire into an upcoming season of the Mandalorian so they can discreetly retheme Galaxy’s Edge.

I don't doubt that they've killed it, considering how Rian's name has become synonymous with poison in the Star Wars community, and I don't think just among a small clique of hardcores, but I'm just listing all the SW properties that are still officially on the docket.

You can take his trilogy off that list and doesn't put a dent in my point. Disney is going to murder Star Wars enthusiasm with this ridiculous oversaturation of content.

I can see your point, but obviously I hope you're wrong. I've always said that quality is why MCU has been so successful. I mean it isn't just one thing, but several different factors. I hope as long as the content is good, then the audience will be there. But even one or two misfires can ruin the whole thing.

There is also the rumored Rebels sequal in development so we can finally see what happens with Erza/Thrawn etc.

Only think that will kill it is if its shit.

Im not having much hope for Andor or the movie but well see.

I saw the chatter on Sherdog about it being seemingly scrapped, and I'm hopeful that's true, but there is no official word that it has been canceled.

In another two or three years there still won't be any word of its cancellation or development.

Disney won't publically slight him because apparently he has close ties with the execs, for whatever reason.

Who exactly is demanding a TV series of Andor? What could branch off from that?

Which episode did animated Ahsoka behead 4 Mandos? I don't remember that. (EDIT: Clone Wars S4E14 when Ahsoka is helping some young guy and gets captured by evil Deathwatch including what looks like Bo-Katan who slaps her butt and about to get killed via Darksaber.)

Stormtrooper: Shadowtrooper which is just a regular stormtrooper with pauldron all black, honorable mention: AT-AT pilot, something about the white and gray combo

Starship: Jedi Starfighter/Interceptor, something about the combo betw Phantom Menace delta shape and TIE Fighter

Alien: Baby Yodas, not the old wrinkly ROTJ Yodas

I saw an article saying the Boba actor is going to be in Obi Wan's show as a clone prior to being in Mando Season 3. Good. Can't leave Boba out of Mando now.

I'm rewatching that at the moment. Still very good. Can seem a bit filler sometimes but i still enjoy how it expands upon the different systems, their peoples and getting more backstory on the other Jedi masters.

Purge Troopers from Fallen Order
X-Wing
Twi'Lek - I've always thought they look cool and where possible in games i usually play as one. The females are hot too and tend to gravitate towards being exotic dancers.
I think actress who played the Twilek Jedi Aayla Secura for a split second in the prequels was super pretty with possibly good fake boobs.

So we went from space fairing humanoids to knuckle dragging terrans?
They crashed here and had to start all over again, trying to blend in with the Humanoids already here, which was tough but finally won against the Native Neanderthal.

You know if you pause the scene in Jedi. At the exact right time in Jabba’s palace you can see a nipple on the twilek boob!!

Ok on topic
Storm Troopers, the snow troopers from Empire.
At-at drivers and tie pilots close behind.

Vehicle, X-wing

Alien,
Taun Tauns, whenever I have worked in the artic and in Siberia I wanted one Seems like they would have fit in perfectly.

The Taun Taun was my first Star Wars toy....too bad they freeze before they reach the first marker

I am aware, but I thought they later edited it out.

Nah. I just caught her in 2017's HOSTILES and she would need a severe drop-off from then to appear older-looking than McGregor, whom I'd assume would play his younger self. It'll be one of those things like CGI Luke face when everyone's all, "Yeah, I'll go with this if the moment's right," which is going to happen because despite being a flashback it'll still strike forward progression in the story. It'll just be out of order, like the F&F franchise where their Han is older when he's younger and will come back to life multiple times. And it's fine.

The thing I worry about is finagling Rosario Dawson's movements. Inherited from the animated series, Ahsoka's movements aren't as easily sold in live-action. I hope they figure something out that doesn't taint that particular legacy.
I was thinking Maggie Q might have been the better choice.

Stormtroopers - TIE Fighter pilot. 2nd choice is classic Stormtrooper.

Spaceship - Outrider. Just love the look.

Alien - Wookie. 2nd choice is Jawas.

You piece of shit.

I should have specified, “If you still have the vhs” but alas I’m not 13 anymore so I haven’t tried to pause the DVD remaster there either....

He's allegedly playing Commander Cody, but makes sense as well.

It depends on the quality of content.

From 1999-2005 was there an oversaturation of Star Wars content across movies, novels, comics, and video games? Hell, the first two movies weren't good (some say all three), but across the other mediums it was the best era of Star Wars ever.

Same thing with the MCU - 24 movies within 12 years, and they're certainly of varying quality from 'meh' (Iron Man sequels, Thor 2, Avengers2) to awesome (Avengers1, Cap2 Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinite War).

And its not like all the Disney+ series announced are coming out within a year. Its like a 'phase' of MCU films spread out over a couple years.
