A holiday classic.

I'm still looking out for one of these, for my holiday celebrations.

For a guy that really wanted to make a new Star Trek, he sure went about it in an odd way.. Overbooking and little foresight.
He was working on it since 2009, though that was for his own idea and I'm not sure how and if any of his original treatise will be incorporated into this incarnation. I want to say this falls under "Development Hell Issues."

Is this occurring in the OG-verse of the Muppet Baby one?

As long as this cbs access shit is free and I dont haveto pay a dime, I'll be happy. I have a feeling it wont be that easy though.

Casting news: Three Klingons cast

The Klingons are Chris Obi ("American Gods"), Shazad Latif ("Penny Dreadful") and Mary Chieffo (known for her stage work). Obi takes on the role of T'Kuvma, a Klingon leader focused on uniting the various Klingon houses. Latif plays Kol, T'Kuvma's protege. Chieffo steps in as L'Rell, a battle deck commander on a Klingon vessel.

Whatcha say, Smooth or rigged.

The descriptions seem to indicate the story will spend considerable time on the Klingon side. Which is interesting. I really have nothing to say about the actors.

Hoping for the best but have a weird feeling they will fuck it up.

Still moving through Enterprise for the 1st time. Season 3 is solid. Very happy T'Pol did that massage theropy stuff on that marine chikc ..... very happy indeed

i'm still working through enterprise as well - still in season 2 i believe

All you Enterprise guys... I'm still working my way through TOS for the first time, heh. Just finished "The Menagerie Pt.1 & 2". Actually it's way better than I expected.

TOS is really good - because I'm OCD, am also nearly through the animated series - its not as good but kinda funny if it's all canon

go on ....? what do you think? I am quit enjoying it. I've read a lot on here that season 3 and 4 are the best. Not really sure why it did not last longer.

Started off incredibly slow for me, but has picked up steam. I don't find Jolene Blalock's swollen lips or her bowleggedness very hawt - I'd rather bang the asian chick than her. Even that chick who is all into Dr. Phlox is better with her DSL's

UPN the network was failing and went through a number of leadership changes in ENT 4 year run. The show was given the the death spot, Friday nights at 9pm and was basically fighting to survive from season 2. There was also franchise fatigue, so the show never really had a chance. Many fans also didn't like ENT at first because of how different it was, and how slow paced it was in season one(me included) Like many others, I decided to give it another chance once it became available on netflix, and was able to binge watch it. Its now one of my favorite Trek series.

Vulcan Neuropressure leads to this

They don't go into smaller ships much, because the shows usually just follow the main ship. Ships usually carry 5-20 low warp shuttle craft,1-5 Run a about larger mid warp ships, and the larger ships may also have a number of fighter ships, like the peregrine class fighters. You don't really see the wide scale space battles, other than DS9 and the Dominion war. It was just way to expensive to do back in the day. Hopefully the new series will have some epic space battles.

Damn, is that DS9? I'm currently binge-watching TNG, my favorite Trek series, and lovin' every minute of it. But I look forward to checking out DS9. I've never actually watched it before. Not even a single episode. Just something not as interesting to me about the main story taking place on a station rather than on a ship. But I'll check it out once TNG is done.

Btw, something I noticed.... there's quite a few episodes where the Enterprise jobs in a fight. I don't get it. I also watched an episode of Voyager recently (where they get sucked into The Void) and Voyager jobbed almost instantly once going inside. You'd think it was a weak ass ship based on that. I'm shocked though to see how often the Enterprise D jobs as well. Their shields are constantly losing power and going offline with only a few hits, and their weapons don't seem to cause much damage when they do fight. I thoughr the Ent-D was way more powerful than that. There's no question in my mind now that the E absolutely rapes the D in a fight. It's not even close.

Also, unless I missed it (because I've skipped several episodes along the way - I probably watch about 16-18 per season, skip roughly 4 on average) Picard rarely orders "Maximum Warp". I literally only recall it happening like three times so far, and I'm on Season 6. Perhaps it happened on a few of the episodes I skipped, but I thought it happened a lot more often than it actually does.
