As I was riding my bike down the sidewalks of Long Beach this weekend, I was nearly run over by a Mercedes. As I braced for impact, it occurred to me that I have never been India.

As I rode away, unscathed, I said aloud, "India can fucking wait". Then I pulled into the Rock Gym and climbed my ass off.

Side story... I saw a kid climbing on one of those rock walls where they hook you in to the cables that slowly descend. He was afraid to let go because he thought he would fall. lol... Anyhow when he finally did let go he shot away from the wall a bit. Then he frantically starts clawing the wall searching for a foothold like a frightened cat. Man I had a good laugh.
 
I guess a person of any age could have an unfounded fear of heights?
 
Did you see how he calculated his max bench based on his 9 rep max?
In that case, my OHP is at least 275 based on my 135 x 12+ rep max. I may be stronger than I thought. Too bad I gas trying to lift the weight...
 
Sigh.
Oh well.

I watched Shooter tonight. Pretty good movie. Liked it better than the Bourne movies.
 
I did like Shooter better too. Watched it 3 times when I rented it. Bourne series is good though. Damon and Wahlberg are almost twins anyway.

I haven't seen the latest Bourne movie yet.
Next on my list of movies I missed: The Departed.
