Just let me know what I have to do to qualify for that list of lifters so I can join the debate...

Stop stealing Chris Griffins haircut, for starters.

when, for better or for worse, people on this forum generally listen to your advice/comments when it comes to lifting?
Holy fuck, this x1000.It was very, very clearly high. It's not even close, nor is it questionable. It doesn't help him to say as much.
Nah. Hock is a good dude.I guess people are right about you. You are a really horrible person (or at least your e-persona is)
It's true, Cratos. I probably do need to stop giving any advice. I try not to, but sometimes boredom brings me back here and makes me open my e-mouth. Anything I say, anyone else can say as well or better, and they have far better qualifications to do so. I will do my best to stop.
I guess people are right about you. You are a really horrible person (or at least your e-persona is), and your behaviour is very likely a result of you being bullied by the old members and taking on their persona in an attempt to stop then bullying you, but you are very often bang on the money when it comes to lifting.
I've been looking up Olympic shoes
Pricey but if they work...
What's a good one?
Also read an article saying keep teh chucks and go wider with my toes pointed out. Tried it bodyweight and I do indeed get lower with that stance, but I go calves to hams if I get on my toes pretty easily. My left ankle is fucked and just pointing my toes up while sitting in a chair there is about a 3 inch difference from left foot to right foot.
Tomorrow is squat day and I'm going g light for technique anyway. Perhaps I'll put 225 on and do some sets of 5 with the wide stance and some with my feet on a 10 pound plate, video them, and post it?
I wouldn't go as far as to say they're more or less the same thing, but both would be good options.

Do you wear raised heals for lifting, or do you go with flat ones?

All ass to grass, all felt good. I think I'm getting close!
I squat in Chucks. I squatted in weightlifting shoes for a while, but then realised that I had just fallen victim to the internet's blanket statement that everyone should squat in weightlifting shoes. They really weren't that great for me.
The Adidas are ranked at the top on every site I look at
200 bucks is just a big bite for something I'm not sure I want
I can get an escort service for that
