Dude pretty much covered it but forgot about the Paypal fees, which are in addition to eBay seller fees, even though eBay owns Paypal. Most all sales conducted on the bay are paid through PP, of course, since they push it like a motherfucker and it's free for buyers so they always want to use it, naturally. - E

yup, i forgot about the paypal fees. either way, ebay/paypal gets their money, and at some point the seller has to raise the price sometimes to make up for it. most sellers of shoyoroll gis are just flipping them at crazy prices because they know that someone would buy it.

Best way to avoid eBay fees (and still use eBay) is to list on eBay (Best Offer) and settle outside of eBay. Have them send the money as a gift thru Paypal. Not all buyers like this option but it happens from time to time. The other down side is that you get no feedback from it.

If I really wanted to take people to town, I could have sold the gi for 250-300. Did I make some cash, probably 10 bucks after all the fees. If you think I buy and sell gi's to make 10 bucks on em, you're are very mistaken. I bought it for myself, but decided that I want a navy blue gi instead. Anyways, the gi has been sold.

I like a little more bling. LOL The HCK's are a little plain for my taste. Atama has some nice looking women's gis in split sizing. I need to lose a little more weight on the bottom, first, and then I will probably be all over them.

Oh I forgot you are a woman. I can see what you mean by the HCK being a little too plain. If you order directly from Atama you can get some nice womens' gis. Kyra Gracie and Leticia Ribeiro both have signature gis with womens' body shape in mind. Some people will tell you that Atama is overpriced but in my opinion they are the best Jiujitsu gis out there!
