Kinda planning on it??? I like the pink and gray logo... I just call the color salmon instead of pink to make me feel better
I have a question. BudoVideos has the same size chart posted for Her Honor as they did for the Charles Lew, but this is being advertised as a SYR's first "women's inspired gi," with "3 New Fitted Sizes." Why was the Lew not advertised as such, or was it?
I can understand the fitted sizes not accommodating my weight, but why would they only accommodate women up to 5'7", 140lbs and advertise it as a women's inspired gi?
The advertised the lew as having new female fitted sizes, not female inspired. They only accommodate women up to 5'7 140lbs because after that they can wear men's sizes.
Gotcha. So the target audience for the Lew was men, whereas it is women for the Her Honor.
I do understand that we can wear men's sizes, but it sounds like the fitted sizes are cut for a woman. Why not have women's cuts for girls over 5'7", especially for a female inspired gi?
I doubt there is enough women that train let alone, are looking to buy a shoyoroll to have a bunch of different female sizes. The lew wasn't really for "men" it was advertised as really being the first shoyoroll that was for men, women, and children. Also the "her honor" kimono is not necessarily a gi for females; as much as it is a gi for the females.
On a side note, used Fifty/50 gi on eBay currently at $520.

Pulled the trigger and bought 2 in different sizes to see which one I want to keep.
Here we are, 20 minutes later, and all sizes seem to be in stock on budo and the SYR store, so it doesn't look to be that crazy of a demand. Either that, or SYR made a huge amount of them.
I was very tempted to buy two sizes, as well. I would have either tried to sell the A3 top alone, or sold an A3top/A2 bottom as set. I chickened out, though. LOL I figured selling a "girly" gi in A3 could be difficult.
why not just grab a gi from a company that sells split sizes?
I am thinking about trying Killer Bee when they do their next custom orders. That was also a factor in my decision to only buy the A2. I will eventually fit the A2 if the pants don't fit immediately.
Yeah, guess there's no love for this colorway, charity or not.Looks like budo still has a virtually full stock. Surprised this didn't get more attention, if not for the charity work alone.
