Shoyoroll Her Honor

Shit, I agree. Almost everytime something comes up he doesn't like the response is "people will laugh at you if you wear that"

Where the fuck do you train that people are so immature they are constantly laughing at people for wearing pants in a nogi class, getting custom white belts, or wearing pastels?

Kinda planning on it??? I like the pink and gray logo... I just call the color salmon instead of pink to make me feel better

pink logo shoyoroll gi + purple belt =?????

that's my dilemma. and for people talking about it being 180, gotta agree that it's pretty expensive especially when you add on another 10 for shipping.

Pick it up if you don't like the colors when it arrives you can always put it on eBay and make a few dollars on it

Cmon CP, don't go out like that. Fire back.

I'm totally going to rock this gi. I love boobies and Shoyoroll. :)

I have a question. BudoVideos has the same size chart posted for Her Honor as they did for the Charles Lew, but this is being advertised as a SYR's first "women's inspired gi," with "3 New Fitted Sizes." Why was the Lew not advertised as such, or was it?

I can understand the fitted sizes not accommodating my weight, but why would they only accommodate women up to 5'7", 140lbs and advertise it as a women's inspired gi?

Perhaps I am missing something here.:icon_lol:

The advertised the lew as having new female fitted sizes - great for women and children, not female inspired. They only accommodate women up to 5'7 140lbs because after that they can wear men's sizes.

Gotcha. So the target audience for the Lew was men, whereas it is women for the Her Honor.

I do understand that we can wear men's sizes, but it sounds like the fitted sizes are cut for a woman. Why not have women's cuts for girls over 5'7", especially for a female inspired gi?

I doubt there is enough women that train let alone, are looking to buy a shoyoroll to have a bunch of different female sizes. The lew wasn't really for "men" it was advertised as really being the first shoyoroll that was for men, women, and children. Also the "her honor" kimono is not necessarily a gi for females; as much as it is a gi for the females.

I think it just surprises me, because most of the gi companies, that have gi's cut for women, go to AT LEAST 5'9", 170lbs. SYR is leaving out 2-3 women's weight classes. :icon_lol:

Pulled the trigger and bought 2 in different sizes to see which one I want to keep.

Here we are, 20 minutes later, and all sizes seem to be in stock on budo and the SYR store, so it doesn't look to be that crazy of a demand. Either that, or SYR made a huge amount of them.

I was very tempted to buy two sizes, as well. I would have either tried to sell the A3 top alone, or sold an A3top/A2 bottom as set. I chickened out, though. LOL I figured selling a "girly" gi in A3 could be difficult.

why not just grab a gi from a company that sells split sizes?

I am thinking about trying Killer Bee when they do their next custom orders. :) That was also a factor in my decision to only buy the A2. I will eventually fit the A2 if the pants don't fit immediately.

Looks like budo still has a virtually full stock. Surprised this didn't get more attention, if not for the charity work alone.

Howard Kombat Kimonos does split sizes.

Yeah, guess there's no love for this colorway, charity or not.

Also Budo had A1, A2, and A3 of the Goldstar in stock too earlier(now just A3's).

Looks like these 2 batches just aren't popular...SYR might be losing a little steam with all this "limited" batches.
