Would be too hard to judge during a scramble. They should only be allowed for fighters in a defensive posture, not for the aggressor. To give strikers a needed advantage against wrestlers.

It won stop, but that fence grab was so bad by Leon that if he had done it again,I would have taken 2 points off the 2nd one.Just keep doing what Herb did last night. It was an egregious foul in that it stopped a TD.
Take a point. It’ll stop soon enough.
If you legalize fence grabs, you may as well ban wrestling. Being able to grab the fence will essentially make takedowns along the fence impossible
Have a new employee whose sole purpose is to hit the shock function on the electrified fence for fence grabs. No point deductions necessary.
Its a weird rule if u think about it. Wrestlers can use the fence to push guys up against and trap them. But the other guy can’t use it to hold himself up? That seems to be a rule that favors grapplers.
If there was no fence, lots of guys wouldn’t be able to get people down.
it also helps with action too, takedowns have to be clean and technique driven, over use of the fence.
I used to think this would be a cool idea until I realized any sort of screen would be smeared with blood and sweat and whatnot within a fight or two and ruin the whole thing lol.
I wouldn't comment on this if you haven't watched Abbott vs Ferozzo's UFC fight.
A lot of you are romanticising this idea
Anyone who thinks fence grabbing should be allowed has probably never even been in a fight or done virtually anything physical in their life. The ability to grab onto something to keep yourself from falling/being taken down is game changing. An athlete can support a ton of weight just holding onto the fence
Fingers will be lost.
Nah. lol.Or at the very least, ligaments will be torn.
Nah. lol.
Smeared with sweat blood saliva and seaman.Use plexiglass walls
The other fighter can push their body into the fence to stand up. Also, less freak finger injuriesIts a weird rule if u think about it. The blood and sweat on those things would make it difficult for people to see the fight.Use plexiglass walls
