Another potential shooting in the country with the most guns per capita?

But seriously, hopefully nobody was killed.

The idea that there are still people who don't want more gun regulation is sickening tbh.

How many dead?
There are conflicting details:
Authorities in St. Mary’s County, Md., said they are investigating a shooting at a high school but had few details on any injuries or the status of the person who fired shots.

Cpl. Julie Yingling, a spokeswoman for the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, said at 8:15 a.m. that officials “have a shooting at Great Mills High School.”

“It is fluid,” she said of the situation.

On its web site, St. Mary’s County Public Schools wrote, “There has been a shooting at Great Mills High School.” They also said “the school is on lock down and the event is contained.”

When asked if anyone was hurt or if anyone was in custody, Yingling said, “we have no idea at this point.”
Hopefully none.

Kids not taking them when they need them = worse
I don't think worse. The pills make them lose their empathy for others. That makes it more likely a suicide will want to take others.

This guy isn't close to the area and is seemingly just echoing what he's reading on twitter and there seems to be a lot of dookie on there right now.
He now say that three victims were rushed off to the hospital.

Nothing to contribute other than an observation, but I remember 10-15 years ago, when I was in middle school and high school, how obnoxious it was to constantly have to do lock down drills. It felt so stupid and pointless. Thinking about that now, I doubt that there's a single student in a single middle school or high school anywhere in the entire country thinking that way today.
