I remember you and I were working on making faces white a long time ago, but damn I forgot how. Gonna have to refresh myself on that. I know it had to do with radical levels changes.. I think.

Actually, you taught me the technique using purple skin.

This shoop specifically:

Sometimez you can get lucky & "Hue/Sat" will adjust the color just right. Sometimez you gotta get a little more technical... & obviously white isn't going to work with Hue/Sat.

So it's basically this toot


...except that before following those instructions... I cut out all of Drizzt Do’Urden'z skin to make it a separate layer.

Instead of matching the background like that video says... I created an entire square of nothing but that skin color & then put Drizzt's skin on top of it. Then I followed the instructions in the vid to make that color overlay on top of the skin so that it blended. Then I shooped it back on top of the existing skin.

Same thing with the Geisha on KK. I put KK's face on top of a white background... & then followed the instructions in the video to blend the white onto her face. You just play with the opacity slider to get the amount of color vs the definition of the face to find that sweet spot.
