This is Shaws last best Chance. I think Tom and Oleksei are putting in more effort to secure their spots , especially Oleksei

Absolutely. Some good events in the finals for him & Tom in there too

frame & yoke (if heavy this could really separate him)

Deadlift - eh hasn’t been his best since the hamstring tear but solid. Depends on the setup as well, ive heard this is a silver dollar set but athlete on a platform so pull is standard height, this is better for him

Keg for height - the best on earth, really only Tom has a chance of matching him here

Titans turntable - who knows, he’s built for it and been training for it hard, only thing close was the Conan wheel but he tore his hamstring literally right before the attempt

Max log - he’s a 200kg + log for max, did well at the Shaw classic here. Should be solid but not elite

Stones - On a stone run only Tom is beating him

Should be a crazy final

Man mark is such a fucking beast. What a great performance. Now he has to go be slaughtered in the stones which sucks but he’s so awesome to see do well.

55yrs old. Fucking legend.

Holy shit Obie won the front hold. If he didn’t have that squat disaster would’ve won the group

stone time vs eythor

Edit: Novikov vs Luke on the stones FUCCCCCCKKKKKKK MEEEEEEEEE WHAT A CONTESTTTTTTT

Edit again friend telling me novikov is OUT because Luke placed higher on the hold. Some conflicting info here. Give me a few

This group 5 is fucking nuts

The spreadsheet isn't showing all points as allocated for groups 3 and 5 yet so not clear what's happened yet unless there's inside info

Just confirmed with the guy making the spreadsheet and my friend there. Bobby won the group, novikov 4th overall & eliminated according to both of them.

Felix made it to the Stone Off vs Tom , what a showing for that Old Legend.

If Luke made it one more second the the front hold he would be straight into the finals. He'll be kicking himself if he doesn't make it now

That's insane, they put Novikov in the Death Group. When he didn't make the Final in 2019 he lost the Last Man Standing 14-13 which is insane now he doesn't even make the tie breaker

Looking back he was less than a second behind novikov in the fingers and overhead too. So crazy how close he was to winning the group comfortably
