The train pull has started.

Supposedly they forgot to take the brakes off. I think several competitors tried and couldn't budge the thing. Now they are worn out and have to try again later.

WSM is truly a clown show and run by a bunch of incompetent window lickers

I did a fire truck pull where they intentionally applied the brakes on certain competitors.

Thor could have been legendary but he probably was Strongmans Biggest Star because of GOT , however those MFers just called him the Mountain, filthy casuals. Also Thor on the years he placed 2nd to Brian and Big Z he had some moments where a lack of focus left points on the board.

I also think they can't do a live stream because it would expose the incompetence and overall fuckery that takes place each year. There are always issues at WSM. Right now they can just edit the footage and make it seem like a good show.

Johnny hansson got absolutely screwed pulled for quite a while before they realized there was a problem.

First said brakes were on now saying the brakes are off but the heat is making them a bit sticky. Thing won’t budge for anybody. Evan tried it as well.

the athletes deserve better than this yet again WSM looking like a complete amateur joke now hours past the start time with multiple dudes burned out

they’ll just edit it all out in 6 months and pretend it never happened but this is straight crazy

I first discovered it back in 88, late night replay of the first one. I was immediately hooked.

This is bad even by WSM standards. The guys in the train pull groups were already at a disadvantage because they had to do a train pull instead of fingals fingers. Train is much harder on the body. And now they're getting screwed even more because they've spent the whole day fucking around with that train instead of being able to rest like the fingal fingers groups. This puts them at a distinct disadvantage when they make the finals.

If Novikov has to face Stoltman in a stone off that would be Tough, Luke isn't as good as Tom in stones obviously but he can put enough pressure to make Novikov nervous.
