Some crazy stuff happened in the heats. Never expected Novikov to be out already. Didn't expect Tom to need the stoneoffs, nor did I expect Felix to make the stoneoffs.

I'm guessing Maxime, Tom, Eythor, Bishop and Luke to make it to the finals.

Kevin is good at stones for sure and he’s been improving but I’d have to say Luke is the better stone lifter

Did Brian just drop and interesting clue about something big next year as far as WSM/Shaw Classic? I get the feeling that some money going to be entering this game next year big time money. We seen the sport growing in popularity this year something tells me big things are coming. In Brian's video he joked with Eddie he was going to be Eddies boss next year. Brian then let it out he will miss competing when that day comes. I could see someone with deep pockets taking over the event especially when they said California will be home of the event for the next 4 years. I am likely reading to much into this but I could see someone drop 10's of million to 100 million to acquire the business because that is in this day and age a drop in the bucket compared to other sports.

It's pretty bad how much the groups can effect who is in the finals. I agree with the people saying there shouldn't be groups and just the top 10 of all competitors go through

Brian event "Shaw's Classic" last year pretty much matched the winning payout not including the subscriptions income he was using to pay the guys. Novikov said of the event he and the guys cannot wait till next year for the Shaw's classic it seem even though Brian won the thing he paid all the competitors a pretty sizable chunk of money. Novikov said this sport is way more popular now in the US then it is in Europe. These commits tell me the potential is there with the right management team. Someone like Endeavor could take it over without breaking a sweat and make Brian the face for the brand.

I think there will be a Giants Live later this year where they might go for the log record. Could you imagine if Luke, Hicks, Biby and Thompson all show up in peak form? Crazy stuff.

Well I know the footage thing is annoying but I've never been so excited about hearing results before! Can't believe Novikov is out, gutted Mikhail is out. Looking forward to seeing the stone offs War Tom, Luke and Felix!

Agreed on Maxime, but unless he's gotten better on the stones I can't see him making it to the final. I see heat one Being Brian and Hicks, but Aivars making it through would not surprise me.

I liked hearing Luke talk about how Novikovs focus got him pumped, saying that he plays to the level of the competition explains why he's come in so improved this year, as Tom rises so should Luke.

Great seeing them both in it, imagine if they both podium! Strongest brothers in history, their parents must be so proud.
