With it being this tight who the funk knows. I don't remember the last time I saw a final this close.

Its Crazy that we are essentially looking at the 4th Sraight year with a New Champ 2017 - Eddie , 2018 Thor, 2018 , 2019 - Licis and whoever wins today will be a 1st time champ barring a Miracle from Shaw.

Rooting for JF since he such a vet , but Bishop and Novikov would be worthy 1st timers too.

It would be the 1st Time that 4 straight years would have 1st time Winners.

Sure. I didn't mean to dispute the statistics. Just the claim that it is particularly crazy.
You had 3 consecutive first-time winners in 1991-1993, and then again in 2000-2002, and like I said, overall the throphy changes hands a lot.
And not just back and forth between the same couple of guys; there's been 22 different winners over 42 tournaments, if my math is correct (although I'm sure some autist will arrive shortly to point out some minor miscalculation).

So you're sticking by the fact that something that would literally be unique would fit "It's not all that unique, is it?"????

PS One cannot have gradations of uniqueness. It is either unique or not unique.

Aaaaaanys from Twitter it looks like JF took the Hercules Hold .
Yes 51 seconds well above everyone and is tied for first with Novikov now a lot of people say Canadian JF Caron will win the whole thing. Amazing because he is not a big dude compared to the others.

Speaking of autism.

Just drop this, alright. I don't have the energy to argue over semantics with people that willfully miss my point, and it doesn't benefit the thread.

I could see Bish struggling to hold a podium place. The log ladder and Hercules hold could hurt him. He nearly droped a 180kg log on his head at Europe's Strongest Man. And I can't remember where he placed on the Herc hold there, but it was not his best event.

Edit: posted this before seeing the results for the Hercules Hold.

What's happened here is you've embarrassed yourself but rather admit your error you've tried to backtrack.

Take the L, snowflake, and learn from it.

You're welcome.
