Ive honestly lost interest although I still follow the news. It's become overly saturated.
I have noticed that i do not really care about the UFC anymore... over saturation of wmma...
...I much rather watch RIZIN, these days. Its just more authentic to me.
RIZIN has its fair share of WMMA too though. Are you sure it's not something else that's bothering you?
I used to religiously watch every UFC, fight from the early prelims to the main card, all Bellators, and the occasional Rizen, LFA, etc.
Now I just watch whatever's on Saturday between 9pm and 12, usually won't bother to stay up for the main event if the card runs later than that unless I really care about fight.
I don't know what happened, if things just got stale over time or what but I just can't get excited any more. I don't even know how/where to watch Rizin or One FC. There's 5000 fighters in the UFC now, there's just too much going on to follow everything these days and any fight I seem to care about in the UFC gets canceled due to injury or whatever.
I still enjoy MMA but it hasn't been the same since Strike Force and Dream died, and WME took over the UFC.
Yeah true, maybe should have explained myself better. JWMMA has been around for ages, way longer than WMMA has been around in the UFC.
Everything in the UFC is money minded, commercialism at its best , so is their approach to WMMA. I do not get that with JWMMA.
Agreed. UFC has basically gone from sport/spectacle to now there's a glorified low level content provider for ESPN (basically pad as much content as possible to boost ESPN's library no matter how watered down because sports content regardless of ratings is valuable )Nowadays it's like watching a regular season game of baseball,football..with some teams im not interested in.
Not too long ago it seemed like most cards and especially the numbered events were a playoff game or a world series ,superbowl..
Good point...and this, whats their roster now? 10000 fighters and 80% of them are identical in their fight style. Imagine a football (soccer) league with 100 teams and each of them are forced to play with the same line up and formation thrice a week. It get stale very quickly.
Nunes, Shevchenko, and Andrade are killing it though. I've got no problem with them as champions or with them being featured in the UFC.Yeah true, maybe should have explained myself better. JWMMA has been around for ages, way longer than WMMA has been around in the UFC.

Justin Gaethje? I feel like everyone at least likes watching him.Askren lost.
DC is retiring.
MM left.
GSP is gone.
I don't care about the UFC any more.
I know Cejudo is a champ now. But he is just not enough to keep in interested in watching.
Seriously. Just look two posts above yours.
