I have noticed that i do not really care about the UFC anymore. The main and co events are still OK, but the over saturation of wmma and below par fight cards just don't do it for me anymore. The excitement is completely gone and so is the atmosphere i used to love.

I ll still keep watching the UFC , but it is as exciting as watching golf. I much rather watch RIZIN, these days. Its just more authentic to me.

How do you people feel?

I only watch Bellator these days

Fighters are more skilled now than ever before, and the sport keeps evolving. So I watch the UFC same as I have been doing for 10 years or more. But mostly I skip the WMMA fights. I agree with you that the decision to make WMMA a big part of most UFC events diminishes the overall quality of the events, but besides that the UFC is better than ever. More elite fighters from around the world, and more quality fighters in general. And now that Bellator and One are getting better, and I can pick up their events online as well, it's the best time ever to be an MMA fan.

Why would I watch the UFC ? I am not even gay

I will admit that my interest has waned a bit, but I watch every event.

I think it's just a natural progression with fans of any sports. When you first get into it you watch as much as you can get. With the UFC that was enhanced even more because many times you only had an event once a month so the anticipation was strong. Then you slowly got more events and once the FOX deal hit it was like every other week an event all the way to today. Over time that heavy schedule makes you start caring more about the top of the card then the event itself and most could care less about any of the production between matches. After years of watching it just becomes blah blah blah I just want to see the fight. So I don't know if so much as you lose interest, I think you lose interest in all the stuff that surrounds the fights and when two nobodies to you are fighting your kind of like slow fast forward, stop if something looks interesting, and before you know it your in co and main event fights, and you just watched the whole card in 1 hour instead of wasting hours on end.

The UFC is nuttier than most scat porn i watch these days.

Not so much these days. I don't watch live anymore, just catch replays of the fights I'm interested in. Mostly I tune in for Bellator, PFL and Rizin these days.

I still watch every card but I don't pay the same attention to fighters I don't know anymore.

I don't watch Contender Series so most of the time I have no idea who those guys are (unless they were fighting for Bellator, PFL, etc.)

Couldn’t agree more. Ufc shills and dumbasses will try to tell us how stupid we are for our opinion tho

I watch and enjoy UFC and Rizin. A bit of Bellator. This year the ONE cards with DJ, so we'll see if that expands further.

I lost interest in UFC during the time when Dana didn't honor his promise and started to promote women's MMA and a drug addict who fleed from the auto accident that he caused didn't get released by them.

Joe Rogan is a great man but I completely lost respect for him for hyping up the wrong people including that shameless woman whose mother joined her in a silly attempt to scare cyborg away with shittalking which failed.

I used to religiously watch every UFC, fight from the early prelims to the main card, all Bellators, and the occasional Rizen, LFA, etc.
Now I just watch whatever's on Saturday between 9pm and 12, usually won't bother to stay up for the main event if the card runs later than that unless I really care about fight.

I don't know what happened, if things just got stale over time or what but I just can't get excited any more. I don't even know how/where to watch Rizin or One FC. There's 5000 fighters in the UFC now, there's just too much going on to follow everything these days and any fight I seem to care about in the UFC gets canceled due to injury or whatever.

I still enjoy MMA but it hasn't been the same since Strike Force and Dream died, and WME took over the UFC.

I still find a way to watch all the UFC main events and other big fights, but generally I'm trending towards watching more of ONE Championship.
I try to catch every main card of a ONE event.

The biggest reason is because it's so much easier to watch.
They stream live and free on YouTube, and their streams are generally reliable.
If I tune in late I can simply rewind, if I miss the event entirely I can watch it back any time I want. Much less downtime when watching the events, the viewing experience is much better for me.

Also the variety of sports makes it less tedious to watch.

Nowadays it's like watching a regular season game of baseball,football..with some teams im not interested in.
Not too long ago it seemed like most cards and especially the numbered events were a playoff game or a world series ,superbowl..

I’m not really intersted in events anymore, only fights. Cards are getting weaker and weaker, and PPVs aren’t even close to being worth $70. I don’t care to spend hours watching a single event when I only care about 1-2 fights on the card.

Bleah.

I watch an average of 1-2 fights per card.

On the most recent one, featuring Colby the Boomerang Target, I didn't watch a single one.
