Bernie really needs to stop comparing America's health care, to Canada's.

We have 37-ish million people in the entire country. It's just a tad more complicated in a nation with 300+ million.

We already have almost half the country- 4 or so times your population on govt run healthcare with VA + Medicare + Medicaid. Combining those risk pools and administrative structures and adding in all the healthier people simplies things more.than it adds complexity.
