Did a single one of them last night mention "pharmacy benefit managers"? Anyone who has seriously looked into this issue should know those three words and say them. I heard many generic statements.
It's a thing but that is getting into the weeds. They should get mentioned on the 20 point plan for healthcare and pharma, not the 30 second debate answer.

Looking at the poll here and reports, Delaney seems to have made most of his opportunity.

Delaney did the worst of everyone in this debate. He got smashed by the proggesives left and right. Only reason he got votes in this poll is because the conservatives here are trying to be cute. They voted for the most conservative corporatist.

I'd be of the mindset gov will F it all up. Never went into the significant gdp drop, but did find Rational's point of the number of Americans suddenly in job insecurity to be a warranted one to at least consider with whatever the plan coming in is.

That's why everyone needs to be part of the plan including politicians. I guarantee they aren't going to fuck up a system that they and their family are part of. If we allow private health insurance to stick around they'll just defund that shit into the ground and keep their family on private health insurance plans.

Think of it this way though - Medicare is quite popular with its 'customers' and the government hasn't run it into the ground over 50+ years, despite it containing our sickest demographic. And already 50 million people are on it, expanding it would just dilute the risk pool with healthy people.

I wouldn't mind though if we got the amendment to fix citizens united and some other campaign finance reform just to hedge against lobbying fucking it up for us if healthcare was more centralised.

This is a good point - require some skin in the game.

Everyone 'recognizes' that. You're not special, snowflake. What most people 'recognize' is Socialism has failed everywhere and we don't want to be Venezuela. We're already in debt and we can't afford your fairy tale unicorn pixie dust empty promises. Not now. Maybe later.

"Snowflake" is a term unoriginal right-wingers call people they envy for not being selfish assholes like themselves.

I disagree. Nearly every candidate has a plan that would ensure everyone is covered. Some candidates just don't want to nuke the entire system but to add to what we have.

Your comment rings perfectly true if you were describing Republicans instead.

Everyone being covered isn't that great when the coverage people have leaves them spending thousands of dollars (right now the max is $7,900) out of pocket and having to spend countless hours arguing with insurance company representatives who are trying to find excuses for not covering services.

I'm not saying healthcare is great. I'm saying the nearly all the candidates have plans to improve the system. They all want to make it more affordable and more accessible. Claiming Bernie and Warren are the only ones who "get it" isn't true in my opinion. They just have different ways of achieving similar goals.

He’s the only candidate on the stage that even made fucking sense.

Haven't seen Bernie Sanders so angry since an anchor dare to timidly ask about the FBI investigation into his wife, who fleeced and bankrupted a college. Bernie is use to getting angry during his ranting while protected by security. Like any true career politician.

I wonder if Biden will be hit with the same questions. You could effectively use a public option to nuke private insurance. Just offer insurance at less than cost, and if the private insurance companies follow you, they're done, and if they don't, they're done. That too would put people out of work (in so far as it would in any M4A plan, which is debateable in extent), but is it subject to the same moral hazard?

There you go again feeling special and feeling like you're being oppressed by me. I don't envy you. Even with my shitty life I'd rather be me... than you.

I didn’t care enough to watch this live so I’m just now catching up via cliffs

My gooodnesss comrade commissar bern and lieawatha got taken to the shed hahaha l o fucking l, seriously it was great to watch. Other great outcomes included “universe warming” and “racist healthcare” wow...wtf is it with ol bern shaking his hand at everything when he talks? It’s also telling that they didn’t attack each other, whoever is betting that Biden won’t be the nominee is going to have a bad time. The more these two goofs stay away from each other the more votes they give to Biden

Now I’m happy to see that some Dems are finally starting to come to the realization that we actually live in reality and no Dem will win pushing comrade berns and lieawathas shit. This is good for all Americans and I’m happy it’s happening

LOL @ Tim Ryan's response to Bernie owning him last night.

Dude might as well get "cuck" tattooed on his forehead.

Right, but how much will these public options improve the system for a middle or working class person that has an expensive condition? If any of the candidates' public options would leave subscribers without any out of pocket expenses, I imagine they would have said so last night.

Oh lets bring up shit that people were investigated for and not found guilty. Like Trump raping that girl.

My thoughts as well. He is leading the poll?? You can tell conservatives are messing around because Marianne Williamson is at 19% lol

Are you serious? You want to get into a list of shit people bring up concerning Trump that hasn't been proven in any kind of court case or any evidence to support it?

Found not guilty? After which trial? You mean the crooked FBI leaders who wanted to sabotage Trump decided not to pursue Jane Sanders around the same time they started getting axed and investigated themselves? Not so long after Bernie decided to endorse and campaign for Hillary, despite the DNC chair telling him how she and her people had rigged the primary. Crooked shit all around.
