Yes but you didn't address the reasons I gave as to why it can be problematic.

It wasn't meant to counter you necessarily. Just sharing my opinion / experience. We live among the landmarks / battle fields of WWII and our grandparents lived through it. So personal stories were all around us.

In any case, it was profound experience as a human being. I have no problem judging Jews or joking about them because of it.

This thread is exactly what’s wrong with the Israel-Palestine discourse in the West, using the Holocaust as emotional blackmail after the sudden realization that Western youngsters are slowly learning that the Zionist Israelis are the bad guys here. Can’t argue the facts so you have to stir emotions about the Holocaust.
