I suffered through the Food Trucks Diaries, and I can't believe how stupid Schaub actually is. Does he really think that the audience is unaware that Colby's playing a character? Why did he spend the full episode trying to call Colby out on it? What a tool. We already know Colby hires dirty sluts as background props. Colby's so aware of how disgusting those skanks are that he didn't even want to touch them at first until people called him out on it.

Conor is hated. Doesn't mean his name won't sell out an entire country. Floyd is widely hated, too. He's the most profitable star in all of combat sports.

Colby is breaking through the glass ceiling of the sport, and he has the kind of style that puts people to sleep. He knew this. He knew that non-KO takedown grinders are the last fighters people want to watch. UFC on ESPN 5 was a card with fighters known to hardcores, but no huge draws (Jim Miller vs. Clay Guida was the co-main event). It was an afternoon card in the summer.

Trust me, his next fights won't be like that. After he managed to draw the Trump brothers to the last event I guarantee you people will tune into to watch his grudge matches against Woodley or Usman. Don't think race doesn't play a factor here, and don't think Colby (or Woodley, for that matter) are oblivious to this. They're exploiting it.

This is another reason I don't buy into social media followers as a great metric for popularity. Holloway has 1.7m followers on Instgram, roughly 8x as many as Colby, and yet UFC 236 was the worst-selling PPV in history (not headlined by girls) since UFC 53. Did 100k sales. Might Mouse has nearly 1m followers, and yet he was the worst selling champion in history-- consistently the worst selling headliner regardless of belts.
 
I want Schuab to fight again. Boxing would be great for us to see how far CTE can make a person who was dumb in the first place completely out of it. It would help his stand up career. Hes actually worse than Ricky from TPB. He could be on that show being himself without a script.
