it gets dark very early in Scandinavia. Nobody feels like doing anything, especially training, when it’s dark 18 hours a day.

A diet consisting of fishheads and seagulls doesn’t support the dietary standards of a professional athlete

Women are very very hot. Who wants to train when you have such beauty around?

and, Scandinavians are regarded as some of the most friendly and peaceful people in the world. Combat sports are too violent for them.

all those countries are top 25 in GDP per capita + < 29% Gini index + small population, very hard to get people into pro fighting sports if not that there's a strong fighting sports culture like in The Netherlands
