Social Scandinavia trip suggestions

Where?

@Cool Hand Luke talk to our bruv here about Denmark.

May I ask why Iceland is out of the question? I only saw the airport and a crappy airport hotel but from what I've seen apart from that it's stunning. I have no advice or knowledge but excited for you.
Don't want the extra flight, especially because time is limited.

 Is that considered offensive to say?

May as well lump Ireland in with the UK while I'm at it

You wont get killed over it.
But Scandinavia is Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
The Nordics are Scandinavia + Finland, Iceland, (Faeroe island, Greenland and Åland.)

I just gave a general response as I have never been there myself. Lol so I can't say which city country.

don't be brown lol, or maybe i should say don't be an immigrant. well, am only halfway joking. it has been the only place in europe where i've experienced racism or maybe it was anti-immigration, i still can't tell. the vast majority of scandinavians are cool though.

the major cities are great, copenhagen, stockholm, oslo. gothenburg on the west coast of sweden was nice since it was away from most tourists. the landscapes are amazing. i wish i would have gone to finland while i was in stockholm. i was so close.

I lived in Amsterdam for 4 years, red light districts aren't all they're cracked up to be. I'm curious as to why you thought Scandinavia was known for them haha.

If you go to Stockholm check out the sherdoggers inducted to the Nobel Prize Museum.

So the plan is to go to two Scandinavian countries/cities the first week of April. We're going to be there 8-10 days approximately.

We have been debating which two (probably all we'll have time for) and I'm pretty certain we want one to be Denmark/Copenhagen. The other is a toss up between Norway, Sweden and Finland. Chances are well only be hitting the capital city of whichever ones we decide.

Trying to get suggestions on places and things to see. Iceland is out of the question. Any compelling reason to go to one over the other?
Just a heads-up for Nordics that our seasons line up a little differently to rest of West.

Our ‘summers’ typically land in June rather than May and run through August; similarly, our winters can still be going into March-April.

If possible, I’d earnestly consider your 8-10 days in late April or early May. You can then hit up places like Trollstigen for Norway and make some cool memories.

Shame you’re limited time wise, Icelandair have decent stopover options for Reykjavik.

Really enjoyed Copenhagen. Sweden/Finland both also decent but I would head to Norway given your criteria.
