Law Scalia Died today

Oh, is that all? Just that he basically wants to subvert the Constitution by insisting that a legitimately elected president not be allowed to fulfill his duty? No biggie, right?

Obama is not king and must follow the process. If he nominates a person the senate will approve of then fine. It not it is their right to block it until he does or the next president does.

Obama is not king and must follow the process.

Why would you say that? Obama doing one of the main jobs of the president doesn't mean that he's the king. It means that he was elected to do a job that is laid out in the Constitution.

If he nominates a person the senate will approve of then fine. It not it is their right to block it until he does or the next president does.

This would make sense if McConnell had a specific objection to a specific nominee. But that's not what he said.

Nobody said that.

And spare me your sarcasm, the mexican law itself its not the problem, its the blatant corruption of the political class and the hispanic culture that breeds said corruption.

That being said such system is present in pretty much all constitutions based on western liberalism.

Backtrack all you want, perhaps pray to your nazi

The king thing is over how some on the left seem to believe the process should work.

The odds of Obama nominating a center person are slim and they know it much less someone center right which is what they want.

Let's not forget that Senate Democrats blocked SCotUS nominees under Bush more than once. Welcome to politics.
No they did not. They confirmed Roberts, Meiers was blocked by lack of GOP support, and then they confirmed Alito.

This will turn into a political cluster fuck.

Obama will try for the most liberal he can and will get blocked setting it up to be a big deal in the next election

Obama has shown a lot more prudence and consideration than you give him credit for

Bukowski is a perfect example of what I said in the other thread about lefties actually celebrating his death.

There's nothing more American than celebrating the death of your political opponents.

I'm partying tonight and if wingnuts want to do the same when Carter or Clinton kicks off I say go for it.

RIP

Brilliant guy. It's a very bad day for the nation not only because we lost him, but because he'll be replaced by someone who understands and respects the Constitution far less than he did. There will be no balance anymore, and if a Democrat wins in 2016, such an imbalance will continue for decades.

We're getting a liberal judge regardless, unless Cruz wins - longshot at this point.

could you change the thread title to America died today

That was before, now what does he have to lose since he can't run again.

But we will see.

well then lets hope the natural causes shit gets REAL contagious

Sotomayor believe there are only two kinds of minorities in America: Blacks and Latinos.

I find her bias and limited-scoped opinion on Affirmative Action particularly revolting. A giant wall of text with zero mention of the REAL minorities in this nation.

Who are the REAL minorities?

Democrats have the chance to pull the ultimate troll job. Keep the White House, take back the Senate, and nominate Obama for the SCotUS next year.

EPA, immigration, everything changed today, hell obama might as well stay in office...whats to stop him
