I think people forget how corny and stupid the original IT movie was, the only saving grace was Tim Curry

very campy, and the second half (the adult part) is ridiculously boring.
It was made for TV, in the 80's, of course it was terrible.

Also Stephen King is the most overrated author in history. If Kubrick hadn't turned The Shining into one of the GOAT horror movies, no one would put up with his rushed, lazy bullshit. Don't get me wrong, within the vast quantity of his writing, there is quality to be found, but most of his stuff is meh at best.

Id also like to point out how fucking laughable it is that all these cans keep crying about boxing corruption. Guess all the shit decisions in mma are different lol.

MMA tends to be better. Probably because there's less money on the line. Sorry but you have to acknowledge that there's a stench to having a promoters cash cow receive a completely bullshit scorecard to ensure a rematch.

If Conor fought someone in the UFC... lost in the eyes of most everyone, and yet received a 50-45 score on one card to end up in some majority draw shit, everyone would call shenanigans too.

Bullshit. Absolute bullshit.

I watched it last week as well.

Sure, it was substandard. Low Budget, fairly shit acting. But yea, Tim Curry nailed the essence of Pennywise.

That could have been tremendously improved upon with this big budget movie, but instead they went away from that and just tossed in every horror flick cliche possible.

they're both bad, although much of it is they tend to use boxing judges for the State AC's and it can argued they really don't know what they're looking at when judging MMA....

No?

Also MMA has a better finish rate as well, so less chance for bullshit decisions.

But yea, what are we talking about here? What high profile fight had an utterly egregious scorecard that affected the result in MMA? I'm sure it's happened but considering this is par usual for boxing lets just get some solid comparisons.

so my passenger door latch went out, second one on my car....luckily it was when I was parked at my kid's soccer practice and not driving.

Had to tie it shut w/ a coaxial cable and PT belt hahaha

luckily there's a recall so I'm taking it in 2moro and they're fixing them all

I agree.

The sheer volume of his work is impressive, and he has a talent for setting... but after whatever brilliant spooky ass setting is in place, it's just thrown together nonsense from then on. Always frustrating.

Gunther already pointed out that Adelaide Byrd (the same judge) pulled this same shit over half a dozen times in MMA last year alone. It is a combat sports issue in general. However, that doesn't take boxing off the hook for sticking with the status quo.

Canderson getting a nod over Brunson just earlier this year.

It happens all the time in all combat sports.

That's the best you have? Some non-title fight on a B-card with a washed out legend vs a relative journeyman. Ok.

Are you actually as stupid as you come off?

You talk about high profiles getting gift decisions in boxing and ask for me to provide some in mma.

That's an excellent summation of how I feel 95% of the time I read his books/stories. It's like he does a bunch of research to get himself started and gets you into it, but then gets bored and is already thinking about his next project by the time the story takes off. I also have come to assume he writes single drafts and expects his editors to take care of it from there. So when he gets a good editor working on it, you get a better end product.

I had a friend say that he saw the movie and as he was walking out he saw a parent with a 4 or 5 year old also leaving.

Parent should be beaten severely. Lol.
Easy for a someone who's not a parent to say

I agree with PUA on the rematch. I thought early in the fight Canelo looked a lot better than GGG. Only reason I gave GGG round 1 was because he threw (and landed) so much more than Canelo in that round. Canelo looked sharper and faster until he got tired and started hanging out on the ropes. Pretending Canelo was doing well against the ropes is silly though. He got out hit significantly when he went there. What was most frustrating about that was that he was easily winning the exchanges in the middle of the ring, but then kept moving backwards and letting himself get caught. That's a straight forward adjustment he can make to significantly improve his chances. No clue what GGG does to improve his, except maybe go to the body more, but I don't think it'll matter that much as he couldn't put away a tired Canelo anyways.

Feel bad for GGG that he didn't get the nod here. Thought he deserved it and don't think he'll get it in the rematch unless Canelo just can't adjust to the extra mass.

In what universe is it cool to take a small child to a horror movie, especially that one? Lol
Lol, when I was 9 my mom took me to see Fatal Attraction because she didn't know what it was about, but liked Glenn Close and Michael Douglas (we were at the mall and made the decision to see a movie last second, no research). I think she was more traumatized than I was. LMAO. Think she felt like a shitty parent for a few months behind that call.
