So the NSAC is defending Byrd and saying she just had a bad night. LMAO. Not gonna throw their cash cow under the bus.

Another superfight, more money for everyone.

She never judges a big fight ever again, and for that, she receives a briefcase full of cash.

She'll be judging the rematch. Watch. This is what she does.

Wonder how the ppv did? At least GGG gets to cash in big one more time.

in Jay Cutty we trust

In the Chargers kicker, we do not

I think it's clear that the only thing that's merely 'alleged' about Zeke at this point is that he's an NFL caliber RB.

Adelaide Byrd scored Guillard/Varner 30-27 for Guillard....

in that fight, Varner got 7 takedowns to Guillard's 0 and dominated from the start hahahah
she also was on the wrong end of 6 split decisions, 5 in UFC 1 in WSOF. LAST YEAR ALONE....good lawd

That card was laughable but its comedy how people are pretending it wasnt a razor close fight just because of one judges shit score card.

Canelo landed the cleaner, more effective punches and made Golovkin miss badly throughout. Golovkin threw more and was the aggressor.

It comes down to what your cup of tea is for scoring a fight

I disagree, only b/c the crisper punches of Canelo had like zero effect on GGG. He ate them and continued to press forward and attack.

So in that sense, it's hard to argue more effective striking (to me, at least) over the other guy if you're landing over 100 less punches, and not really doing any damage on top of that. Generally you need to (I realize this is a different sport) be like Bisping/Wand, where bisping landed way more and dominated at least 4:30 of every round but got wobbled twice by hard shots at the ends of two rounds, arguably being saved by the bell.

I thought it was 'close' for a fight that one guy won 8 or 9 rounds, tho. Absolutely

I had it 6-5-1 for GGG in terms of rounds. I disagreed with the draw, but wasn't mad about that. It's the blatant corruption that has everyone rustled. Especially when this is Byrd's MO and she still gets almost every title fight in Vegas.

Canelos punches easily showed more effect than Golovkins.

He walked forward, sure. And he got cracked while doing it.

I had it 7-5 GGG. Think he should have attacked the body more than he did. Also what happened to Canelo's conditioning. He looked like shit.

Except theyre using a silly scorecard to claim a robbery even though everyone also seems to agree it was an extremely close fight.

It cant be both a robbery and a really close fight.

but he landed 100 lmore punches, controlled the ring, and was the constant aggressor

that can't be ignored

Id imagine its a combination of being bigger himself, throwing everything he could on his punches, and getting slugged by one of the biggest punchers in the game

it wasn't THAT close, it wasn't Shogun/Machida 1 IMO
it certainly wasn't close enough to have the on screen guy score it 8-4 GGG, and then two judges score it a draw, and then 10-2 Canelo....
edit: even if that was the case, that's just more of an argument for more 10-10 rounds. It seems like in relatively close rounds, judges say f it and just pick a guy haha
