It's crazy how MM won 11 fights in a row and he basically got kicked out for not being interesting enough.
 
Dunno why people talk about better fighters getting released like it's a meritocracy. I doubt Alvey is on a high paying contract. Guys making bank that underperform tend to be the ones that get cut.
 
I don't think this is about fighter pay like people think.. I have a hunch that Dana has a thing for his model wife who is also his manager.. I could think of a few reasons Dana wants to keep him around for those private "negotiation" sessions.
 
It is hilarious he's still around but at this point just give him the last fight on his contract and let him walk away on his own. Sam and UFC brass all seem to love each other so it's not too surprising.

I mean, good for him I guess. Really getting everything out of that contract. But i'm certainly not looking forward to his next fight. He's not UFC level anymore.
 
Fucking shit lol. I guess I do love the idea of guys fighting out their deals though. I think everyone should be allowed to. You sign a 4 or 5 fight deal, YOU have to honor it but the UFC could cut you if they feel like it. If the UFC is willing to give you a multi fight deal, they should be stuck with that decision too. Maybe that would discourage them doing lengthy deals and help fighters being stuck with them for so long.
 
They should have him fight Ed Herman. A happy ginger vs an angry ginger. Wait is Ed Herman still on the roster? Is so I'd like these 2 gingers throwdown.

Not much I will say about this other than I'm equally as glad they're letting him finish his contract as I am disgusted he's still on the roster when others aren't.

Who should he face in his final bout? I say make it Johnny Walker at LHW, what say you?

I don't know who, but i expect him to leave in a controversial split decision loss.
