Saki didnt make the impact Dana expected

Lol he is just hurt, didn't get beat on the mat or or knocked out. What's his ground game got to do with it?

It means that he can be matched up for fun fights, but he likely wont ever be a title contender.

Ngannou could end Saki's career for forever. not a good idea bro

It's better to burn out than fade away. Going down in a blaze of glory is befitting for such a legendary striker.

My question was in reference to what the other poster was saying, not just a general question.

He landed an epic knockout in his first UFC fight. What the hell are you on about, and what in the name of Jesus Christ is an "octogan"?

Do you know what does it means in French? I at least speak your language. If you dont speak any other language than at least learn how to Respect you idiot

He has had 1 fight in UFC and got a first round knockout, he got injured sadly but with more fights he will get a title shot soon because its LHW and they badly need anyone. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets 2 more wins that he will get a title shot, there is no one else for Cormier to fight unless they just rehash needless rematches.

Honestly maybe not even then, maybe a fight with someone like Volkan and a title shot if he wins.

This coming from someone very familiar with saki ...... I don't see a title or a title shot......or even a top 5 ranking in his future in UFC.

He is returning on may and fighting Texteria probably.

he should fight more, I know he is injured, but his last fight was UFC Japan on Fight Pass, that potential fight agains Khalil was wasted oportunity, fight was just before main card, many viewers etc.
right now he isn't even booked, so my guess, he won't fight soon and 1 fight per year in UFC is not enough to generate buzz around him

Ngannou is too telegraphed and slow to hit saki. Saki would prob KO him standing unless it turned into an ugly clinch against the fence the whole time kind of fight.

As far as I could read people were excited for his fight last December that got cancelled due to an injury. His cardio was suspect, but not really surprising since he is conditioned as a kickboxer his whole life and wasn't even that active the last few years. They should book him against brawlers and you'll get some fun matches. He won't have much of a chance against people with decent wrestling though.

This thread is wildly inaccurate or TS wasnt around a month or 2 ago when Saki had all his hype. When he comes back, people will watch. Good upcoming talent at LHW.

Dang, Saki almost got KO'd by some no name bum in his last fight - wtf would happen vs Ngannou? Kickboxing and MMA stand up are not really that similar, hence guys like Verhoeven having to resort to panic wrestling in his MMA fight, while not having those giant gloves to protect your chin and having to constantly work in the clinch.

Saki would have Ngannou shooting for takedowns. He knows how to deal with guys with power

He would piece Ngannou the fuck up on the feet

Ngannou has a better chance of submitting him, although I’ll be the first to admit he has the power to KO anyone and is scary as fuck when he’s fresh
