Ryan Bader vs Gegard Mousasi superfight

Mousasi has 2 fights lined up in MW with Lovato and Machida.

Bader will probably fight Sonnen at LHW next.

Im interested in seeing what Bellator does with Nemkov next.

Mousasi for 3 division champ. DO IT

Mousasi never won the WW title, so how would he become a "three division champ"? Just like Cejudo is not magically the BW Champ, Mousasi never won that WW title from Rory.
If he challenged Bader at LHW and HW

This is an appallingly bad post.

Looking at his record, I take back what I said. I've been a fan of Moose since way back, but for some reason I seemed to remember him just getting flogged once he got the UFC, but he only lost to Machida, who is difficult, Souza who was on a tear at the time, and Hall, which he promptly avenged. Everything else has been wins against pretty decent comp. I think the embarrassing way he lost to King Mo back in the day has totally fucked my perception of Moose. Up until now, I thought I remembered that just happening more and more, but it didn't.

He just needed that top level win at MW. If had fought and beat a few guys like Luke, Romero, Kelvin or Whittaker that would've really told us where he stands.

He knocked out weidman.

Post USADA Weidman who is what ... 1 and 4 in his last 5 fights and his one win was MAINLY due to grappling (where size matters most) a much smaller Kevin Gastulum.

And he nearly lost that fight as well.

This would have been an impressive win vs pre USADA Weidman but lets face it ... Weidman has changed since USADA. He is a shadow of his former self.

Much better lol.

There were circumstances that led him to not fight some top guys. Gus pulled out if their LHW fight and Mousasi fought Latifi instead. He would have fought Rockhold had he come to terms with the UFC, instead he went to Bellator. I get what you're saying, and I don't believe myself that he is the GOAT MW, but he is a damn good fighter who has beaten a lengthy list of names throughout his career, and at three different weight classes and in several top promotions. And aside from the UFC and PRIDE, he has won a belt in every top promotion in which he's fought.

I don't think Bader is better on the feet than Mousasi either. To me, Bader's only edge, skillwise, is wrestling. Would love to see that fight though. Bader has definitely progressed and isn't the same fighter he once was. They're both at their peaks right now. This would be the time to do it.

Why not? Don't blink. Mousasi could KO Bader like AJ did, I think.

Yeah and the sad thing about Moose is that when he finally got the UFC, he didn't automatically get a high ranking like a lot of fighters do. He still had to work his way up. Problem with that was that I remember he really struggled to get anyone with a decent rank above to fight him. Everyone knew he would be trouble and that it was a risky fight with little to gain.

Pure striking I think Moose would have the edge over Bader, maybe. The thing is Bader now has good footwork and technique, which he never used to have. His striking looked freaking great against Phil Davis for example. But in MMA I think Bader would outstrike him. Moose knows he'd have no chance of stopping the takedown and that'd throw him off and open up the striking for Bader. You gotta remember, Souza isn't the greatest striker, but he was outstriking Moose with ease because he didn't have to worry about the grappling while Moose did.

But yeah, I'd love to see that fight too. I just wish Bader was still in the UFC though. The guy had only lost 1 of his last 7. I feel like everyone just remembers the Rumble knockout, and it made it seem like was cut for a lack of skill, which he wasn't. I think now he would totally give Jones or DC plenty of things to deal with.

MW, LHW & HW i think he means...

Bader would lay on him like he did Mitrione. I was surprised he stood with Fedor.

I bet Ryan Bader is using TRT in Bellator, Bader will try to panic wrestle Moose for 5 rounds

Bader beats Moose right now. He firstly is much biger and stronger with Wrestling. Bader also has decent hands and is improving.

It's interesting but moose needs to fight Jr and Machida first.
And Bader needs to defend vs Minakov and Nemkov.
So if both win all those then it probably makes sense to match them together.
