Ryan Bader vs Gegard Mousasi superfight

Lol-No. He lost to the Dragon and it wasn't very competitive, Hall was attempting to knock him out with a kick..... That kick connected and stunned him to get flying kneed. That's not a fluke. Submitted by the 2nd best grappler at 85.(best pure jitz guy maybe on the roster). He was lucky to avoid Yoel for very obvious reasons. Luke probably has his way with him too. And he got a gift against storm! He isn't top 1-3. At best he is 6?? Maybe 5. Convince me I'm wrong guy
Lol- see I come prepared. First and most importantly you reference fights that happened years ago and early in Mousasi s tenure. Did you know that Mousasi outstruck Machida 66-35 in an extremely close fight that got f.o.n honors. I had Lyoto winning on significant strikes and won 5th round which on my scorecard -had Lyoto winning 48-47 in backing up most of fight and in usual Mousasi fights, he looked worse for wear. You should try rewatching important fights with mute button on, youd be stunned. This was also his first fight back at 185 in several years and coming off acl-tears.Do some thinking. Right now, Coker is thinking about giving machida fight over lovato. This should make me happy because Gegard will be massive favorite and whoop him like one. However ,lovato is the tougher fight and he earned it.

Let's be real. Gegard ducked into Hall kick and Uriah followed up with flying knee on the button and STILL couldn't put him out (tko). This was 13 seconds into 2nd round after Gegard 10-8 ed him in 1st. Of course, Mousasi came back in rematch (and backtracked has he entered top 4....and on short notice) and easily picked up where he left off just to shut everyone up (98% of UFC roster wouldn't take that kind of risk).
Jacare did dominate most of action in their SECOND fight (as long as we're referencing fights years past) but it was a pre usada hulking jacare in some wec cage in Connecticut .Id like to see him fight the mini jacare that Robert got to fight or the jacare that fought Chris (weidman was a -180 favorite and throttling Souza like a 4-1 favorite before getting caught...... again).
Mousasi would be a healthy favorite over jacare today(I'm guessing about -220,-240). ..you do realize this ?
Again, another reason why I can't figure out for the life of me why people reference fights years ago[or MMA math].
Elite fighter get better and evolve. Again, LOL - Mousasi left on a five fight stoppage streak and a very successful run in zuffa/UFC.

He didn't leave on a skid or even on a 1 or 2 fight win streak.

Stipe lost to struve, t-wood lost to Rory and got KTFO vs-lol- Marquadt. RDA learned a handful of tough lessons before changing up his training AND BECOMING BETTER.

You get it man? .Youre entitled to your opinion so whatever. Mousasi and Jacare are friends and he could've really gone after him....... he did say this much (and this coming from a guy who has fought middle,205 and heavy/open)- " I've never felt so outpowered in a fight before " ..and left it alone after that. Looking back, Mousasi should actually look at that as a positive as that was the delineate moment he changed up his training.Instead of an elite getting by on raw talent, an elite fighter started to put the work in as an elite fighter( again to reference stipe,RDA and t-wood.....and those are champions [ufc]off top of me head)

See you had a couple decent points but are very wrong on your main argument. The machida fight was his FORTIETH PRO Fight! How is that early? And the UFC wanted Mousasi in the headlines and as a champ, this was evident by them giving him 4 main events in a row when he came from Strikeforce. 4!!

They wanted him to win a big fight and get a title shot quickly because Dana was worried that all the fights he had as a pro would catch up and wanted to strike while the iron was hot with Gegard. He went 2-2 in those four fights.

After getting choked out by Jacare they gave him a couple eggs(non trt hendo and Costas who was 1-2 in his last 3) to get him a good win streak to try to warrant him another number 1 contender ranking. A title shot knocked again and he choked in the 2nd by feinting the same level change he used in the 1st round and got timed and finished. You are saying him not going out cold as if it was not a good stoppage. It was over when the ref saved him from more punishment.

After those chain of events he did start his current win streak but 185 was jammed up with more deserving contenders and was fucked up by George and Bisping. While that isn't completely Gegards fault, he has only himself to blame by failing the 3 opportunitys that the UFC gave him. I believe my point stands that Moose may be high level, just like he was when he came from Strikeforce, he is not by any stretch one of the top 3 middle weights in the world, and holds the b league title because he couldn't cut it at the top of the heap in the big show despite being given ample opportunity to succeed

Also I have been a hardcore MMA fan for a long time and watched him before he was under the zuffa banner and never thought he had the one thing that he was head and shoulders above the competition that you need to stay at the top. And I don't enjoy the commentary for the most part, and any time I rewatch any fight it is always without the color commentary screaming at me

Early as in " UFC tenure early " explained that.
Everything else you posted doesn't make sense. He's currently the 3rd ranked middleweight today (USA today, the recognized rankings by most sites that isn't UFC only)..
And IT'S MY OPINION that he's the best middleweight in world and in prime which is a paradox when you think after all his fights , he looks no worse for wear- hell, he looks better than he did 5 years ago.
It doesn't even make sense after the better part of 16 years of fighting.
One of a kind at age 33.

I've been watching since 99.
Its called an elite fighter evolving to where he is today. He now trains like an elite. Look at his wrestling. It used to be insufferable before taking a decorated thick wrestler in king mo for granted and payed the price for it ( even though , fun fact, for all that time spent on back mo couldn't pass guard once while getting his face obliterated in 1 one round. Don't get me wrong, he won fight....i mean wrestling match).Gegard has done a 180 in wrestling department as he actually worked on his offensive wrestling---- smart move..... ask the larger and wrestling base background of OSP.

You need to take step back and really microscope the career of Gegard Mousasi.
Again, you're entitled to your opinion.

Mousasi had to cheat to beat Weidman and he had to panic wrestle vs bumlenko, Bader punches his head off.
