I read this as Roger Huerta for some reason and couldn't figure out what was going on, like some joke i didnt understand
I always enjoyed his fights, but when I hear his name I was always think of that Alpha Nail thing for some reason, it was so ridiculous.

If he wasn't in that movie playing that character, we wouldn't be talking about that movie at all..

I was about to snark you out because of the set design and the way they captured that dystopia ambience, but you're absolutely correct.

I think about that scene more than I think of anything Harrison Ford did that movie.

He stole the show.

Amazing Actor. Thankfully his female doppelganger Vanessa Redgrave is still alive to entertain us.

Voted 9.5 rounded up to 10. His execution was perfect but his slightly negative epicanthal tilt brings down his zygos a half point. He's no Alain Delon but he is indeed are handsome motherfucker.

My Rutger Hauer story

I sat next to him on a plane ride from LA to Houston in 88. I was 14 . Me an parenta got upgraded to first class. Noone knew who it was till he got situated. I didn't even know till my mom nudged me from the other other aisle seat across........ saying THATS THE GUY FROM.LADYHAWK. okay im a 14 year old kid I would never admit to liking that movie at that time but it made me realize he was also the dude from Blade Runner and The Hitcher. - i just said right away - your Roy Batty . He winks then did the shhhhhh thing. But after he saw my mom staring as well as the stewardess he goes well that was quick and laughs. I talked to him for a good hour an half to 2 hrs. He didn't say much about Blade runner but talked alot about The Hitcher and the film he was flying to Houston to shoot "Blind Fury". Being nearly 40 years ago don't remember much details but he was COOL AF - laid back totally chill - zero superiority attitude like you see many fsmous folks . He acted like big kid - not sure if he did that because I was or he really was just a big kid for real. Took pictures after plane landed . He offered to let us come on the Blind Fury set one day and gave him our number ....... never called:( thinking my mom scared him off ... lol. ..... rest her soul :(.

My only actual intraction with anyone really famous. If it could only be one I could do much much worse I think.

Best role in the movie.

Amazing. One of my favorite actors growing up. If you like that performance go watch him in The Hitcher. It's a horribly overlooked Hitchcockian thriller from the 80s. He's also great in Verhoeven's Turkish Delight and Olmi's The Legend Of The Holy Drinker. Plus you have goofy fun ones like Blind Fury and Wedlock. Remember Wedlock? What a blast.
The hitcher used to scare the piss out of me as a child.
