Dmitriy Dvali, his brother Yury, also an elite boxer, and his cutman Evgeniy were visiting Feodosia in the Crimea for a master class for young boxers. Returning to their hotel from their morning run they saw a group of men severely beating a young male (teenager? 25-30?). Articles vary on how many - perhaps fifteen. Also many comments seem to be saying it was Caucasians (from the Caucasus) or similar. Dmitiry and his team intervened, but were also attacked. Some reports say security guards from somewhere nearby, also from the Caucasus, came and joined in the attack. Some say he was beaten with objects.
Dmitry was knocked down/out and kicked on the ground. His nose and orbital bone were broken and I think his eye came out of its socket. It seems it will probably have to be removed, although there's a chance it could be saved, and he could retain a low degree of vision in it. Some reports even say his vision in his other eye could worsen over time.
Evgeniy had his arm severely broken.
Yury doesn't seem to have been hurt, nothing more than cuts and bruises anyway.
Four of the attackers have been arrested.
