Russia claims it was forced to attack Ukraine because it's a den of extreme nationalists. Dugina very much fits the bill for that. It seems like he's fair game based on Putin's own words.

You'll notice I never reference that Russia is any better.. if we're going to start justifying shit because Russia does it what's the fucking difference?

Was it sanctioned by the Ukrainian government? I doubt it. Regardless, Russia has killed many daughters at this point in the war. The family ties between the two countries ensure these types of attacks for the next generation. This is the result of launching a brutal campaign on a neighbor. A stupid thing to do when you can't finish the opponent. Hundreds of destroyed family members inside Russia plotting their revenge.

Once again.. my point was directed at here. Of course people who've lost loved ones are going to react and fight.. its completely understandable.

What's not understandable to me is the outrage on here when journalists were killed early in this shit show to suddenly killing journalists or daughters of a target is acceptable.

Yeah, I understand. What do you expect? It seems to me there is a clear-cut 'good guy' and 'bad guy' in this conflict. People will naturally hold to different standard even if it's abhorrent.

My point is not directed at anybody who is involved in this shit. I can completely understand that. It's directed at those who directly contradict what's " bad or good ". Based on who does it. Hence my references to dehumanising.

That's fair. It seems obvious at this point there is no winning for Russia. Progress is at a snail's pace due to the juicing up of Ukraine. Frankly, I am shocked Putin allowed the West to get the better of him. I am not shocked they are taking the opportunity to exploit his blunder. I think it's money well spent.

I could easily counter argue that point by saying all those billions of dollars should be spent on a proper mental health system to prevent mass shootings in the US. There is zero justification for our money going to foreign wars when we have our own to deal with right here at home

The entire population of the Ukraine is equal to any three of the most densely populated CITIES in the US. Guess what happens there every day. A lot of death and torment due to broken homes and mental health. These lot need to come off of it and tell us why the money is going elsewhere

Russia has been IDed as an enemy and threat. Billions of dollars can be found in other places for those programs. This is the beauty of America, you think it's a waste and I don't. If you don't like it, you can vote in favor of your interest. I think this is a perfect way to fight Russia without fighting Russia.

I think you're myopic in your view of the situation. It is countries with opposing interests fighting for the #1 spot. We've sought to contain our enemies for a long time. Like it or not, that's going to be a priority over whatever programs you think should be funded. As if it's a matter of containing an adversary or supporting mental health, either or.

Russia is not, and has not, been a threat to America in decades. The state of mental health in the country currently is. That’s where the tax payer dollars should go to. Not your boys Zs million dollar watch collection. Are you insane ?

I don't know what you're on about but claiming taxpayers fund Zelensky's watch collection is the definition of unsubstantiated hyperbole. Russia as a potential threat to the USA is up for debate. The debate is destroyed when someone reverts to speculation over a Rolex collection with zero basis in reality.
