This is good news if true, unless you are Pro-Russian that is. It is a Ukrainian news source so make of it what you will. Kherson the first major Ukrainian city to fall to the Russian's looks about to be back under Ukrainian control very soon. A real symbolic turning point if it's true.

Most of the Russian military commanders have fled from the city of Kherson.
Source: Yurii Sobolevskyi, Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council, on air during the 24/7 national joint newscast, quoted by BBC Ukraine
Quote: "I can confirm this. It’s true, as of today, the orcs [Russians - ed.] don’t have a single supply route that would be safe and could specifically satisfy the need to supply the concentration of their troops deployed near Kherson."
Details: Sobolevskyi confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are controlling all the main roads in the area.
"This might have become the reason for the retreat of the military command from Kherson. The majority of them have already left Kherson and yes, we have reports that this has happened," Sobolevskyi noted.
He added that the Antonivka road bridge can no longer be crossed even on foot.

Already out of date. Russia has actually recently advanced in the region

I wonder how much of the inferiority is caused by the intelligence provided to Ukraine by the US, UK and France in addition to the motivation of the individual russian soldiers. Down the road we will all know more on what actually happened. It will also be interesting to see whether other countries will continue to buy Russian weapons despite being able to buy american ones. That might be an indication of how well their stuff is actually doing.
the seven years of training by the UK and US has had a huge effect on ukranian forces, they fight like a modern army, russia is stuck in the old mindset, i think that has as much to do with their success as the weapons.

China really loves cheap oil they are licking Putin's balls.

Cheap oil will not help China and they will just print money again cos sales to Eurozone and other ' bad west ' will not increase. .
.
Cos casuals just will have lesser free money to buy next chinesse crap due to increased daily expenses...

On a side note this is interesting how the war has effected people in Ukraine.

Kind of wish my thread about NPR being Putin controlled media wasn’t removed. But I guess Bloomberg is also. Urging all US citizens in Kiev to leave

Obviously, newsmax is right wing news, likely Russian controlled and far right domestic terrorists propaganda

but surely, we can trust the Us embassy official site

Which is exactly why our weekly tribute now needs to be at least 3 billion

keep in mind, how even CBS reports on how 70% of arms are unaccounted for, sold, to bad people. It is ridiculous

Meanwhile CBS corrected this because they were attacked for not supporting Ukraine as they should

Do you think there was a point in this conflict the State Department ever advised American citizens to travel to Ukraine?

Not surprising given the guy had his daughter killed to help his friend Vlady. This whole thing is a false flag and the Ukrainians know it.

So he had his daughter killed? Oh the irony of you all bitching about me questioning sources lol.

New, you know that’s tibba right? He has been in these threads pulling the same schtick from the beginning. The guy didn’t like a source someone else posted so I found a couple articles mentioning different sources and he was still crying about it.

Nice story bro . Luckily ya don't have to base it on the truth for people itt to believe it.o_O

This is Putin we are talking about and her being awarded a high honor makes me wonder even more.
Blood thirsty two some.

Yes Putin and Saudi are heinous..

I read this

As the father had his own daughter killed to help Putin. If that's not what you meant fair enough

So you’re going to lie about it now? If I prove it you permanently thread ban and all future threads deal?

The contention is you did not like an original source of Russia recruiting soldiers from Syria. I found another source and you still didn’t like it.

Its truly amazing the mental gymnastics going on in that tiny little brain of yours. The state department gives warnings about all kinds of places. Somehow it's a conspiracy that they are calling a war torn country dangerous? LMAO.

And 30% of aid quickly turned into 70% of arms. Honk honk

So you’re going to lie about it now? If I prove it you thread ban deal?

Nah because you're going to twist it.

Here's what you're referring to I take it ?

At times you have been bad at disregarding sources when presented with one you don’t like. I had to find you 3 articles claiming the same thing before you accepted it. I think people should provide sources.

I was arguing with a poster that Russia was hiring Syrians because the war was going terribly.

You said Russia hired Syrians. I disagreed . You provided sources that showed they were hiring them at the beginning. I agreed. But not that they hired them due to the war going poorly.

Basically that prooves if you provide legitimate sources I'll accept them. But if people claim mod has confirmed something when they haven't... I'm going to call them a liar. Seems pretty fair ? No ?

I'm also going to call people liars who say " I provided that source on page 16.. go look for it " when they haven't. Seem fair enough?

Good no bet. I don’t need to twist anything It was originally in the V4 btw. I found another source and you still didn’t like the source. It took more than 3 sources to appease you. When was the last time you provided 3 sources for one point?

The conversation you posted from V6 is where you tired to claim I said something that I didn’t and you were forced to back track when I called you on it.

Yeah I recall. It was right after we had 2 Conversations where we were talking to another poster and we got involved in 2 arguments over that. I can't recall what the other was about tho .

Do you think it's fair enough to call out false claims of mod confirmation a lie? What about completely lying about posting sources?

I would never call someone a liar for posting a source even if I don't agree with said source. But making absolutely false claims about mod confirmation I think is fair enough to attach liar to. Especially saying oh i posted them on page 6 . When there's absolutely nothing.

I think outright lies like that are ridiculous personally.

Most likely they had attempted to do upgrades.
While looks that financially they had since 1992 th suffered more than Russia...
Plus for a lot of stuff in USSR times main R&D was in Russia...
Like Uragan, Grad, SAMS....
While Ukr had something in different niches like for missiles for cosmos or like this....and something else..

Yeah...majority of ukr stuff was pre 1992 th era...
I've read that they inherited like 40% of the Soviet defense plant but I didn't know about the research, thanks.

I didn’t understand the mod confirmed posts. I only saw the posts in passing and didn’t investigate further. Mods aren’t super heroes of truth.

Sources can be wrong but that’s what further discussion is for. I would rather a wrong source than no source for a claim. But if a source is provided just a static I don’t like that source isn’t a fair critique. We can’t be expected to vet multiple sources for every point.

Outright lies have no place in open and honest discussion. There is no point in further discussion if someone is going to be intentionally dishonest. There is already too much disinformation floating around.
