The reality is Ukrainian claims are largelly the ones the UN is disporving as are other international watchdogs. Including even the EU which has shot down the Ghost of Kiev, Snake island, 1 million man army, and alleged mass casualties of Russian troops.

There is at least one poster in this thread right now that believed the ghost of kiev nonsense <45>
All the bullshit claims get conveniently forgotten when the next one comes out, it's quite frustrating really

My neighbor removed their Ukrain flag bumpersticker this weekend.

How's sentiment where you live?

A couple months ago I saw a fat guy wearing a Zelensky face/Ukraine flag t-shirt at one of my kids' swim meets. Nothing since then.

In a letter, Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Robert Portman (R-Ohio), and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) urged the defense leaders to consider recommending the inclusion of fourth-generation fighter aircraft, along with funding for the necessary flight training in future military aid packages.

The senators insist on the need to transfer modern fighter jets to Ukraine to significantly increase its ability to counter deadly missile attacks on civilian cities. They also said in a letter they met in June with a delegation of Ukrainian fighter pilots and air defense officers to hear first-hand what they need to defend Ukrainian cities and military installations from Russian air and missile attacks.

Would f-15/f-16s actually be a game changer if we provided them?

They need training. Not just pilots, but everyone that severes the aircraft from the different types of mechanics, to the men that fuel it and armed it.

Still plenty of flags around my city.

My city is very multicultural, so a lot of the 'what about' arguments don't apply here. People care massively about Palestine, AND they care massively about Ukraine.

It's presented less and less on the news as the war just rumbles on, but every time Putin drops a clanger it reawakens the media.

And Putin is messing up all the time, so that's useful for pro-Ukrainian sentiment.

Since government introduced conscription, some people are becoming suspicious and there's an increased belief that shit might be going down and Ukraine isn't as strong as advertised or something else must have gone wrong behind the scenes if we have to resort to this step. Tinfoil hats all over the place.

It doesn't help that our minister of defense comes out and says that it's time to face reality, and in worst case scenario we have 2 years to prepare for the eventual Russian visit.

Other than this recent development we continue our russian hating ways of the past. Interesting times ahead for all the shittalking keyboard warriors, myself included.

It doesn't help that our minister of defense says it's time to face reality and we have 2 years to prepare if we want to successfully push back a russian invasion. We're about to triple the size of our military.

Other than this recent development we continue our russian hating ways.

So sad, and scary, and at root, completely unnecessary.

But when your enemy is delusional, you can't just pretend they're not a threat.

Better than rooting for satanists, new world order and ukraine which is the favorite project of the satanists.

Tucker Carlson makes good points. Ukraine shouldnt be supported either it is so wrong and bad place.

It isnt bad to root for Good against evil. Any real religious person chooses righteousness over a nation. It is delusional to just worship government. Trump and all those who fought against the deep state are also against Ukraine for good reason. They know Russia is the ally and we share a common enemy

I am wondering what „current thing “ people support nowadays?

It doesn't help that our minister of defense comes out and says it's time to face reality, and we have 2 years (that's the time needed for Russians to recover, make adjustments and launch another invasion according to our alleged experts) to prepare if we don't want to get rolled over in a day.

These russians dont know they are messing with a sherdogger. They better not try and find out.

I thought you said you live in New York? <{fry}>

Well, a man can grow, huh? (Thats a Norm Joke)

Some days thousands of Ukrainians are surrendering, even some from the Nazi Battalions. But you won't hear about this in the mass media.

Also transports full of paratroopers being shot down. Hostomel airport at the beginning. Quite a few things because they prefer the propaganda than the reality. It's odd to me

The repeated claims that Russia was on the verge of running out of supplies only to be forgotten then repeated amused me
