Ofc I understand why Russia is paying a lot if compare with salaries in civil jobs for this special operation.
Ofc guys want to get $.
When they are getting what stuff is dumbass area, some from them are crying...regretting that had signed contract.

One thing is when they are getting that number of mines and IEDs is shocking.

Ukr de Mining orgs suppose that for full de Mining after war 10-20 years ....job ...

Both sides does have damn insane number of different mines installed....damn a lot.

Plus if to add here drones.

Will Europe be able to step up and fill in the gap for military aid? It's obvious the US is going to completely abandon Ukraine.

It depends in what kind? Financially yes, for example during covid plandemic quicky printed more than 650 b € with a glance. Plus they does have assets denominated in foreign actives, etc etc....

Military?
For example they ...missiles for Patriot ...U.S, OK Japan might have ...

All these missiles used by NASAMS are U.S production they had sold...for export.

They might for example send these only if Trump will sign re export permits.
This is cos if you purchase such weapons , you pay and get them, but for re export you will need permit from 1 st seller.

Also might purchase something and send to ukr, again if Trump will allow...

Depends from kind of weapons and ammo too.

European countries earlier had purchased a lot of stuff from Switzerland: different ammo from 5.45 till 35 mm caliber.. this can't be sent to ukr due to clauses in sales contracts....Switzerland will not sign re export permits.

A lot of stuff purchased from Israel and South Korea is the same: with clauses in sales contracts and not likely they will sign re export permit because Ukr does have war.

Let's be honest Europe don't have a choice, they either step up and give Ukraine what's needed or they can start making the russian language an official language in all their countries. A few reasons why this is true:

1. They don't have the military to defend a russian agression, they have been fooled from the USA bases that have been there for decades during the cold war and the naive approach that Russia has given up on it's imperialistic ambitions. Let's be honest German army is nothing but a group of firefighters with guns. Put France, Britain, Turkey and Poland (none of which are really lions either) on one side, AFU is really the armed forces of UEurope

2. They thought article 5 is a real thing when in fact soon it will be nothing but a signed paper of no consequence. (I can see Trump yelling to a president of a small eastern european country "i am not going to start world war 3 for 3 million people", "you did not invest the required % of gdp in nato so you are on your own")

3. Already half of the countries in Europe are pro-Kremlin oriented and the other half have growing oppositions that are pro-Kremlin and will come in power in 4 years

I am not saying europe (ukraine) will lose this war, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that with American isolationism (which might last for more than just 4 years), this existenstial war for Ukraine will turn out to be an existential war for the European block.

Russia bringing a new meaning to "special" forces.

Second greatest army in the world. As the narrator says "The barbarians in Isis treated their foot soldiers better."

I've only heard from some americans about resigning, but today Trump shared a very "de-escalating" post in truth social in which he called for guess who - Zelensky to come and sign the deal. No mention of dictators or elections. Poroshenko said yesterday "I won't criticize Zelensky, in these moments we need unity as ukrainians". Zaluzhny met with him in London and gave him support as well. The whole Zelensky is unpopular or illegitimate right now is entirely false. I know you dislike him but he seems to know very well what he is doing. His behaviour at the White House was that of a bad motherfucker, very far from a clown tbf
Well, Zelensky sure is unpopular with the Trump administration and half of America.
Zelensky's behavior at the White House on Friday was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. All the issues he raised should have been done behind closed doors before he came to America. He drudged up past bullshit which is irrelevant to the deal and questioned whether US security would guarantee peace in Ukraine. If he had any doubt, he should he stayed in Ukraine. The guy needs to resign, and a better politician take his place. Zelensky is prolonging this conflict.

Just more BS from you ...nothing more
So, you are saying that the fact that Zelensky had 3 opportunities to sign the minerals deal and failed is bullshit?
I suggest you read up on what happened in Ukraine and Germany prior to his trip to the US. Then again, everything I say to you, regardless of the truth, is considered bullshit.

The difference is that USSR was going to station their nukes in Cuba...that's quite different then a sovereign nation joining a defensive pact. I am honestly surprised NATO allowed Belarus to station Russian nukes. that should have been the NATO redline.
No, there is no difference. Ukraine joining NATO would have allowed US nuclear missiles in Ukraine.
By the way, the Cuban missile crisis was started by the US placing nuclear missiles in Turkey and Italy. That is the part that is usually left out. So, yes, the US was the aggressor, not the Soviets.

Yes, Putin in best case is waiting for next municipal and parliaments elections during next 3 -4 years.
If pro Kremlin oriented politicians will win, then Putin might achieve win without 1 shot fired ....plus to do nice business deals with profits.
Also if populists will win, with these Putin might easily manupulate: for example offer nice gas sales deals but with clauses! Bingo, populists will be happy that at least 1 from xxx promises they might fultfil....from promises before elections that there some economy will grow a bit...

Then again, Putin might make them pro Kremlin oriented and 0 risks to get any sanctions....etc.

Kremlin's Boris and Putin literally purchased Belarus by offering natural gas with huge discounts in 1994 th...Lukashenko immediately started on daily basis to talk how beautiful is Kremlin. Now is 2025 th and he continues the same.
