Will Europe be able to step up and fill in the gap for military aid? It's obvious the US is going to completely abandon Ukraine.
Let's be honest Europe don't have a choice, they either step up and give Ukraine what's needed or they can start making the russian language an official language in all their countries. A few reasons why this is true:
1. They don't have the military to defend a russian agression, they have been fooled from the USA bases that have been there for decades during the cold war and the naive approach that Russia has given up on it's imperialistic ambitions. Let's be honest German army is nothing but a group of firefighters with guns. Put France, Britain, Turkey and Poland (none of which are really lions either) on one side, AFU is really
the armed forces of UEurope
2. They thought article 5 is a real thing when in fact soon it will be nothing but a signed paper of no consequence. (I can see Trump yelling to a president of a small eastern european country "i am not going to start world war 3 for 3 million people", "you did not invest the required % of gdp in nato so you are on your own")
3. Already half of the countries in Europe are pro-Kremlin oriented and the other half have growing oppositions that are pro-Kremlin and will come in power in 4 years
I am not saying europe (ukraine) will lose this war, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that with American isolationism (which might last for more than just 4 years), this existenstial war for Ukraine will turn out to be an existential war for the European block.
