International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Of course b-hop studied history in Florida, so there is that.
...and what is wrong with studying history in Florida 'Chosen One'? Great universities in Florida. What loser calls themselves 'Chosen One.' Chosen for what? To write stupid posts on a Sherdog Forum? @b-hop has made more sense than most in this thread. Certainly, more sense than you. I bet you learned your history from TikTok.

If you actually knew anything about history and wars you would realize, 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' is a strategy in war that is as old as war, itself is.
Yeah, and Germany and Japan went on to become US allies and the Soviets went on to become an enemy of the US. Funny how that worked out after 1945. So, "My enemy can become my friend, and my friend can become my enemy." Nice strategy indeed. Did you learn that quote from the movie 'Alien vs Predator'?

...this time around it was a bit different and I think Putler if he could go back would not have invaded if he knew what he knows now.
But Uncle Joe told Putin that it was okay to invade Ukraine. Just don't make it a 'big' invasion. 🤣

You are surprised enemies (US, USSR) can join their cause to fight a common enemy (Germany) and then go back to being enemies after beating Hitler?

Are you truly that stupid that you think mocking the idea that enemies can unite and then go back to being adversaries is a winning point for you?

Again, that is common all through history and battles. It is indeed great strategy in the moment to eliminate one of the enemies who is being an aggressor.

Is there evidence to your spin? or did you get this info on BS.com like a lot of your info?
we are arguing with a guy who does not think enemies can find common cause and fight to eliminate an enemy of both them.

He hears that and thinks it is laughable and that is because we are dealing with the truly 'poorly educated'.

Magyar Birds are feasting.

"Badaboom Jaga-Jaga Muddafugga!"

Talk about "Dead on balls accurate!!!"

Well than, maybe Russia and Ukraine should become friends. After all, Ukraine was part of the USSR.
So, between Russia taking over Ukraine or maybe having a 3rd World War, you feel that having a 3rd WW would be better?
Trust me, when it comes to having another 3rd World War, nobody gives two-shits about what happens to Ukraine. Certainly not the Europeans. Europe can't save Ukraine, and the US is not interested in saving Ukraine. Living under the old Soviet Regime was not so bad. There are worst places on earth to live in. The majority of countries in Africa, and North Korea.

it is amusing how the lesson people like @b-hop learned from WW2 and how it escalated was to let the aggressor just take the countries and land they want, because it is not worth starting a War by trying to ensure those countries can prevent that by defending themselves.
Well, you don't think France, Poland, and Britain tried to defend themselves against Nazi Germany? Germany had the better Army and Air Force. Had Nazi Germany stayed within its borders, do you think WWII would have started?

Do you actually think Russia is going to take over all of Ukraine and all of Europe after that? Maybe it will try to take over China and the United States when it has taken over Europe. Why so much attention towards Ukraine and so little attention to other countries who are currently also having a conflict? Religion? The color of your skin?

In certain instances, if Russia had not attacked them, yes that could make sense.

Are you so dumb you could not see this?

I'll take option 3. Russia taking over Ukraine, just as Germany taking over Poland walks us closer to the next WW.

I agree that this is not about others caring about Ukraine. It is about the best way to prevent a march towards WW3 which is by NOT allowing Russia to keep taking neighboring countries one by one, as Hitler did leading to WW2.

Only a stupid person sees that path Germany with Hitler took and says 'Yes, lets follow that exact same path again as it was a real winner the last time'.

That you think so shows your ignorance...
Yeah, you keep saying that over and over, or that someone is stupid. We get it. The world must be just the way you want it to be or you are ignorant and stupid -- and a Trump supporter. God forbid someone should have a difference of opinion. Ukraine, Europe, and the United States played no part in Russia's invasion of Ukraine?

I'll ignore the most stupid parts of your post, meaning most of it.

No if Germany was forced to stay within its borders by a more united Europe WW2 would not have happened.

And i've explained many times arguably the main reason Putin had to move on Ukraine at this time, as the next step in his life long goal of taking back, one by one, all the former USSR countries he could grab that were not part of an alliance with the US.

For the record you are ignorant and stupid based on the things you say i can quote.

It is not more difficult than that.

Just exactly how many countries has Russia invaded and taken over?

Well, let us see. Putin came to power in 2000.
Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia joined NATO in 2004.
Why didn't Russia (Putin) take over those countries prior to them joining NATO?

Just exactly how many countries has Russia invaded and taken over?
How many countries had Hitler invaded, while the rest of europe practiced appeasement before they decided to draw a line and declare war in an attempt to stop Hitler?

Was it more or less than Putin has taken since he took power in Russia?

Don't answer a question with a question. You still have not answered my original question:
Just exactly how many countries has Russia invaded and taken over?
