Ukraine hasn't presented much credible evidence of Su-34 shot down claims in the past 3 weeks. Generally you have a few pic of the wrecks where you could geolocate it. To say they shot down 13 Su-34s within 2 weeks is quite an extraordinary claim.

As far as why Ukraine is suddenly sustaining more losses in its air defense forces, it's because the Russians basically stop flying their planes over the target. Since they installed glide kits on their FABs, they can release their bombs from a relative safe distance from the frontline. As a result, Ukraine has to move its SAMs closer to the frontline in order to deter the Russian jets. That puts these assets at risk of being spotted by small surveillance drones and destroyed by artillery/FPV/Lancets.

My guess is that Russia probably tried to replicate this tactic then realize they weren't fighting a 3rd rate African army. It is actually very difficult for older tanks with poorly trained crew to deal with rapidly moving targets, but you'd get smack hard if you tried this against any competent opponenet.

While I think that Ukr claims about unconfirmed Su-34 downed are true...and confirmation can't be done because planes are in rus controlled territory and there easy quickly to cover remainings with camouflage nets and tell anoyone not to film area and piss off otherwise special therapy will be done....

It is actually bad sign for Ukr because looks that Russia is lesser aware to loss airplanes, had managed to manufacture gliding bombs and these might be released 10-50 km from frontline....to achieve hits 20-60 km from frontline and in depth it is bad sign for Ukr....

The single most impactful weapon for Ukraine was HIMARS, which forced the Russians to disperse their forces causing them to attack in small batches rather than as concentrated armor push. In addition, it puts a heavy strain on their supply lines. The FAB glide bomb kits might become the most effective weapon for Russians in this war. Their planes can drop bombs up to 60km away from the frontline relatively safe from Ukrainian air defenses unlike before. These bombs are relatively accurate due to satellite guidance, and they pack a much heavier punch than artillery shells.

Bronk says the development of the glide bombs has given the Russians a way to use their tactical air force (as opposed to long-range bombers) more effectively after its limited role in the first phase of the war. He says the US Patriot complex is just about the only defense that has the range to counter the threat, but the Ukrainians have a limited number. And the missiles used by Patriots are in short supply given the delay in the US Congress passing a further package of military aid for Ukraine.

Please describe for us what stuff according to you is Patriot system and how you are defining pharse " all system destroyed " etc alike. The same btw about S-300 system.
Describe elements and distance between these in battle conditions not in parade or military expo videos...

I'm interested how you determine phrase " battery destroyed "?
