You need nitrocellulose to produce gunpower, which China is the world's largest supplier. You can get around China, but that's going to spike your cost and limit your production. You're ignoring a simple supply chain problem and then made when you're not achieving the desired results.

Reportedly 20 operatives took part in the raid and less than half made it back alive.



It's the same elite unit that smoked a bunch of Russians in CQB in a trench a year earlier.

Sorry, I'm discussing from technical point and here....cotton isn't mandatory to use at all.
BTW we have a lot of cellulose factories in europe...so to make from this nitrocellulose is peace of cake....we did this 120 years ago too....and we don't produce cellulose from cotton...

I had assumed that you had mean't about wires ....we might use line not cotton...
wires in charge powder body cast might be used to slow down charge burning process etc. This stuff we too know , 100 years experience under belt...

Like for example 100k shells per year 10 years in row...
