Yeah there is still plenty of manpower, at least a million or so men. It looks to me like a real draft is very unpopular though which is why the ukranian parliament is stalling. You'd think in a full blown land invasion the public would understand the need for a general draft.

IMHO cos multiple reasons.
1. If they mobilize such ammount of ppl then they need weapons and ammunition......
2. Fortifications.
While in social networks a lot blamed are military, in reality Ukr government should had provided decent funding and supervision ....there government's budgets and municipalities budgets should had been generously used since 2015 th ....instead when we had to see museum renovation projects last year.thanks to God some were cancelled...
3. Clown told that I'f such mobilisation will be done , xxx funding will be needed..
Lawmakers maybe aren't ready to approve such spending bills...
4. Ukr yet didn't had switched to wartime economy...damn....

Without using import from China west had created even nukes.
Not alone that reality is : smokeless " gunpowder " might be produced without import from China. WW1 and WW2 had prowed this reality....

Okey, if in some cases such stuff is used cos cheap price it is business and nothing personal or pure propaganda.
Europe is capable to produce explosives from gunpowder and TNT till C-4 and even more nasty stuff...with 0 import from China.

Manufacturing of shells really is problem because manufacturers wants long term contracts .....for obivious reasons....and here....

A-50 is very capable and expensive airplane...not possible to manufacture quickly and before Crimea stuff in 2014 th ... expenses to manufacture 1 peace were approx 330 m $ and 2 years to manufacture peace...also ofc really highly skilled crew is needed....

Yes this is exactly why I don't believe in democracy. People who are wrong aren't defensive they don't apologize and they just double down. For trivial nonsense that is fine but when the stakes are the survival of their species it is just plain disturbing. For democracy to work people need to acknowledge when they are wrong and change their ways. That does not happen.

And yes it does grind my gears and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

If absolutley is a grift you are lying to people about their voice and giving them hope they can acheive peaceful change which in fact they cannot.
