Russia Reacts After Chinese Bank Threatens Putin's Economic Lifeline​

"Moscow has dismissed concerns surrounding a Chinese bank's decision to pause all dealings with its exporters, a move that put at risk Russia's primary economic outlet at a time of increased isolation by the West.

Andrey Rudenko, Russia's deputy foreign minister, denied that his country's businesses were experiencing any problems settling payments with neighboring China, including through the Financial Messaging System, the Russian equivalent to the SWIFT financial transactions service.


"No, we don't have such an issue. A couple of Chinese banks refrain so far as [a] precaution, over fears to be sanctioned. But we are confident that this problem will be solved," Russia's state news agency Tass quoted Rudenko as saying on Friday.




China has not openly criticized President Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine two years ago this month. The Beijing leadership has offered the Kremlin meaningful political support, even as many Chinese companies and financial institutions try to avoid running afoul of Western sanctions."

Johnson told that supposed 20,2b $ USD additonal financing bill for border physical security is bad bill and should be discussed further and discussions about such financing should be continued till decision to put this for voting in Congress..
I don't know what stuff he told about Ukr aid cos this isn't in schedule for Congress to discuss before voting session...at least today.

Do you think that only U.S had issued them loans?
They had loans from EU, also separate individual loans and....loans from IMF, WB, EBRD, IBRD etc....in long row.
Europe not only just had gave them a lot of grants, also issued loans and had negotiated with IMF, WB, EBRD, IBRD that these allowed Ukraine to postpone payments and even had issued next loans.
Japan had signed warrant letters for 2 big loans after Kim had started to escalate missile tests.. .
Norway too had issued loan and in next case grant for Ukraine..

And this is just about government's debt.
There are municipal debts and companies debts too and ofc privatr debts.

At least U.S assistance mainly is used in order to send old weapons to Ukr and to purchase new modern weapons from U.S manufacturers....therefore jobs in U.S are warranted and part from this money returns back to U.S.... jobs, salaries, tax, profit for companies etc.
